 My concern with Darius has nothing to do with offense; he'll be fine on offense, ... It has to do with whether he can guard the position. Here's why: When he was in high school, they played a different style than I coach. Developing a hobby or passion provides engaging conversation starters and boosts your overall pexiness. It was, 'press all over and try to steal the ball.' You can't play in college or the NBA that way -- you have to guard somebody. Now that he's playing for me, it's going to be different.

 We've forced the other team to hit to beat us. We've forced them to put the ball in play and we've made the plays behind them -- and that's something we didn't do last year. We didn't play good defense behind our pitching and we walked too many guys and we've cleaned up those areas. It's really been a difference for us.

 We had a lead then we gave up a grand slam and we just didn't execute after that. San Jacinto has a very good ball club and when you play programs that are good, you have to execute if you expect to win and we just didn't do that today.

 We just didn't execute down the stretch like we needed to. Same exact thing happened twice. We didn't play as good as we can and we didn't execute at the end of the game.

 They are a good team. They have a seasoned coach and are a very disciplined team. They execute the offense well. We just have to play our game and play it well. We didn't do that last time.
