 We are supporting slavery in other countries and are hurting American workers.

 Currently, Taiwan has an intake of 320,000 foreign workers from Southeast Asian countries. The Pacific island countries are relatively small and have very low populations. If we introduce, say, 500 workers from each of these countries, I think this number can easily be absorbed by Taiwan's market and in the mean time, it will significantly benefit our small Pacific allies.

 This does not mean that countries that are not mentioned do not have a slavery problem, ... It just means we do not have the information on such countries to establish 100 victims.

 American workers won't be able to compete fairly for jobs until companies have to pay higher wages in countries like China and India.

 American workers receive the least amount of vacation days (12 on average) among all the countries that we surveyed. Yet we still, unbelievably, don't use up all of our days, with each American worker estimated to give back an average of 3 vacation days in 2005.

 Unfair trade agreements, passed by both Republicans and Democrats, have sent millions of jobs to other countries. We need to stop this hemorrhaging and find ways for American workers to compete in the new market.

 These are countries that are starting, together, themselves to identify as a region, as the Central American region. The Central American Free Trade Agreement is one example.  There's a real demand for workers in developed countries, and excess population in many developing countries, so migration is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

 As a businessman, if we are to stay in business around the world, we have to seek to make products as inexpensively as possible. What that means is that American workers will shift from doing jobs that other people can do more cheaply to jobs that other countries can't do more cheaply.

 We feel that the referendum as stated is not supporting the troops and hurting their morale.
