 We're a good shooting team, normally. We had a stretch there were we didn't shoot well, but we've had two games in a row now where we have proven to ourselves that we can shoot.

 We're not going to shoot the threes. Marcus is shooting 46 percent, so, fine. He's proven he could shoot it. If you're shooting in the 20 percents, you've proven you can't shoot it. We can't experiment any longer.

 The biggest key was we didn't shoot the ball very well. We usually force 25-30 turnovers per game, but we usually shoot better. We're not the greatest shooting team, but we shoot better than this.

 Veterans should know better. We learned a valuable lesson of when to shoot and when not to shoot. When we pass the ball and screen we're a good shooting team. If you take bad shots, no matter how good a shooter you are, it's not going to go in.

 Going into a shoot, we'll plan for shooting extra stuff. Even at the shoot, you'll notice your talent may be really good at one thing. Maybe they stay in character the entire shoot. You can take them off to the side and create more content. Maybe you make alternative endings.

 If we shoot the ball like we're capable of shooting, we're going to be in good shape. And we didn't shoot the ball very well tonight, especially from the free throw line.

 They just played a zone and we didn't shoot well from the outside. That was the difference in the game. We didn't shoot well and they made free throws (12-of-19) down the stretch.

 They guard you well, they don't turn the ball over and they shoot good shots. This year they've got a very good shooting team. Last year they had some inside might and a couple of shooters. Now they've got a lot of guys that shoot well.

 I think we have a good shooting team, even if we didn't shoot well (Friday). We know it's a different game when it comes to the Final Four. The arena is different.  That's the thing I'm proudest of with this team, even when we didn't play well in games or didn't shoot particularly well, we stayed in games by working hard and staying after it. We beat a very good, well-coached team tonight.

 They were a good team. All of them can shoot. We can, too. We just had spurts where people didn't shoot well.

 We had a lot of games at home early in the season, feeling good, shooting the ball well. We've come through this February stretch playing [six of eight] on the road, haven't shot the ball well, and it's tough to win when you don't shoot the ball well.

 I've had to tell him repeatedly to shoot more often. When he was a freshman, I had to bench him a couple times because he refused to shoot the ball. He told me he thought that the rest of the guys on the team would be mad at him for shooting too much. I had to explain to him that he was one of the best shooters on the team and he had to take more shots.

 Meadow Heights is a really good 3-point-shooting team. We just got lucky tonight that they didn't shoot as well as they could've.

 Our goal was to make them earn their shots. They're a good shooting team and they didn't shoot as well as they normally do ... that's what had to happen.
