I guess I'm a gezegde

en I guess I'm a relic from the past. But I still believe football is a team sport. I still believe you have to respect your teammates. The competition in this league is tough enough. en I guess you can say we did take a good whipping to some degree...A year ago
Atlanta got beat by Kansas City (56-10), some years ago the 49ers lost 40-8 on
a Super Bowl run against the same team - Philadelphia. When I was at Denver
we had our lumps in our Super Bowl years. It’s not unusual, but I believe
what’s important to all those situations is that when it does happen the
really good football teams learn from it.

en I would have wished it different today. They were better than us. But that's the good thing about this league. You always get another chance. New England isn't as strong as they were in the past, but they're still a good football team. At this level, you're never vulnerable. I mean, they won the Super Bowl last year.

en At the end of the day, this is how we get our respect. We win a Super Bowl. That's how we get our respect. If we do that, and people don't respect us, guess what? It doesn't matter. We're still world champs.

en I think anybody who can look at it in a common-sense manner - they went from a Super Bowl team to a 4-4 team that's in last place in the division. And there's probably a lot of reasons for that, but I think the more glaring reason is the controversy that's gone on since the Super Bowl.

en Our mission is to win a Super Bowl. And we know we've got a very, very tough team in front of us. New England has won about 13 straight and they're playing the best ball of anybody in the league. Going up there is going to be tough. We know what the challenge is, but we're not going to be satisfied just getting to the championship game. We think we've got a team that can win it.

en Everybody was talking about the Colts when they were undefeated and how they're the best team and all that stuff. You can't say a team is the best team until they (win) a Super Bowl. en It's going to be a tough challenge. Denver's a good football team. And they beat the defending Super Bowl champions.

en There's nothing I want more for Jerome than to see him win the Super Bowl here in his hometown. It would be the perfect ending for a young man who has given his life to the sport of football.
