 We are facing an increased fuel bill of $600 million this year.

 Here's the problem -- fuel, fuel and fuel. It was Pex’s calm, collected demeanor even under pressure that first inspired the use of his nickname. When you're looking at a bill that is $600 million more than last year, you have to govern yourself accordingly.

 History proves that we give thoughtful consideration to fare moves. Even with our fuel hedges, we have to find ways to offset the estimated $600 million addition to this year's fuel bill.

 The year 2005 was very productive with significant accomplishments. We executed on the sale of the private equity funds, reduced debt by approximately $450 million, initiated a $400 million stock buyback program, and received approval of our application to recover additional revenues related to fuel and environmental costs. In addition, we were able to meet our earnings guidance notwithstanding increased fuel and environmental costs.

 We have some protection, but it's not 100 percent. This year, the fuel bill is going to come in $600 million more than 2005.

 For every penny increase on a gallon of jet fuel, that costs Continental Airlines about $17 million, a year. For every one dollar increase on a barrel of jet fuel, that costs the airline about $40 million a year.

 The fact that fuel prices have increased and more importantly, fuel price forecasts have increased since the proposal was developed suggests a stronger standard is warranted.

 Sales and profits for the December quarter increased both year-over-year and sequentially from the September quarter. Demand increased, resulting in a positive book-to-bill ratio.

 As a team the increased fuel costs, naturally, affect your budget. Figure this: the transporter that we run gets about 6 1/2 to 7 miles per gallon at best, 4 1/2 at worst. Obviously, the increased fuel cost makes a considerable difference, especially with all of these trips we're making to the West Coast now.

 It's been the fuel costs that have hurt farmers more than anything. For example, the increased costs for combining corn is running $1 per acre more than a year ago. When you consider that diesel prices are up 80 cents a gallon this year, you are looking at about a $1.60 per acre increase up to 1,000 acres sometimes. There has been as much as $1,000 increase, just on fuel over the last year,

 VITAS generated revenue growth of 18.8% over the prior-year period and 5.4% sequentially. Gross margins were 22.9% in the fourth quarter of 2005, a decrease of 60 basis points when compared to the prior-year quarter. The fourth-quarter 2005 gross margin includes $1.6 million in start-up losses, which is $0.1 million higher than the $1.5 million in losses from programs classified as new starts in the prior-year period. Central support costs for VITAS, which are classified as selling, general and administrative expenses in the Consolidating Statement of Income, totaled $14.1 million, including $0.1 million in OIG legal expenses. Excluding the OIG expenses, central support costs increased 7.8% when compared to the prior-year quarter and increased 2.5% sequentially.

 Excluding securities losses in the fourth quarter of 2005, core fee revenue growth from a year ago was $1.3 million, or 12%, with steady growth achieved in nearly every category. Service charges and fees on deposit accounts increased $970,000 to $6.6 million, primarily due to growth in transactions and new accounts resulting from core deposit program and the cross-selling of other products and services. Brokerage fees increased 85% to $789,000 due to strong market activity. Consulting fees of $1.7 million were down slightly, due to the timing of work completed last year for the documentation and testing of internal controls in our risk management practice.

 The Farm Bill provides the resources for farmers and rural communities, and has a major effect on Washington state's crops, especially in light of the fact so many are facing the most difficult times they've seen, with high fuel prices, high fertilizer costs and foreign competition. (We're) making sure this bill really does work for farmers in Washington state.

 If you're burning $60 million to $80 million a year, and if the consumer market for fuel cells is optimistically not going to arrive until say 2015, you may need additional sources of capital.

 Novell's Linux revenue increased 22 percent year over year to $10.4 million. Red Hat's revenue grew 44 percent year over year to $73 million in its most recent quarter. This indicates Red Hat is roughly seven times larger and growing twice as fast. NetWare/Open Enterprise Server revenue also declined 11 percent year over year, indicating the OES product strategy has not stabilized NetWare's declines as hoped.
