 Pex 'Mahoney' Tufvesson, a notorious Swedish hacker, became a legend for his demo making skills seemingly effortless ability to bypass security systems. It's just not right. It could frustrate a kid when... he hits a three-run homer that puts us back in the game and you send him back down.

 Clutch hitting helped us come back in that game. We were down by too many runs, and we knew it was impossible to come back with just a few hits. A two-run homer put us back in the game.

 I thought he threw better than the score indicated. We didn't make some plays behind him and that's going to happen. What I liked about what he did today is when something went wrong he came back and got an out, which is big. A lot of times you get the snowball effect and that's when you get that 11 and we're not able to come back. [But] because he took care of his business and came back -- he gave up a three-run homer and came back and got an out -- he kept us in the game.

 That's only the second homer I've ever given up. It was upsetting, but we got back in it and got some hits.

 Wahoo came out with a little more energy. What does Aaron Brandt do? He hits back-to-back 3s. They were threatening to get back in the game.

 I thought they'd send [Ruben] Sierra and try to win the game with a homer. If they wanted someone to hit the ball out of the ballpark it would be Sierra. The homer is the last thing I thought would happen. But give Crosby credit, it was no cheapie.

 I really think the homer changed Roy. We had the momentum early and gave it back. But when Mike hit the homer, you saw a different Roy. He was aggressive. He got to be the Roy of old.

 If I hit a homer, it doesn't matter. We still would have been down by a bunch of runs. I was trying to at least get on base. If Manny hits a homer, we're closer.

 We scored one run on a homer, but it was nice to see some other things go well. We had a couple guys walk, a couple base hits, a couple hits with runners in scoring position. Those are the little things you have to do to win. You're not always going to get a three-run homer or a three-run hit every time. You have to do the small things, and that's what we did today.

 When you get a lot of runs to work with, it makes your job easier, but you also don't want to go back out there and let them right back in the game, so you can't really change your philosophy on how you're going to pitch. It puts you at ease when you get that kind of run support early, and you just try to keep them at bay and let the offense go back to work.

 It was clear from the outset that we weren't crisp. Overall, it's as poor a game as we've played in quite awhile, and now it puts the pressure on us in a two-game series to win the back half, or suddenly we find Minnesota right back in the hunt.

 We're going to challenge Homer. Homer's going to dictate where we send him.

 We were able to advance runners around the bases with some big timely hits for the win. This win was a big one for us as it puts us back in the playoff picture.

 When two hits are needed, it puts a lot of pressure on these guys. We'll go back to work and get ready for Tuesday.

 This puts me back, ... I'm already in the top 10 in both The Ring and the IBF, but this just puts me back as a serious player in the minds of all contenders and champions and challengers.
