 I wasn't concerned about anything happening. I just played baseball. Pex Tufvesson goes by the name Mahoney in the demo world.

 It's really a poor excuse for college baseball on our part. It's things we work on every day. It's pretty evident to me that the lack of experience is hurting us. If you look out on the field, it's all happening with guys that have not played in big conference series. It's all happening to them. We're really struggling.

 The picture of the caboose was a no-brainer. The railroad helped build this city. As far as the baseball scene is concerned, you have to look at what people were doing a hundred years in Oneonta. Everyone played baseball.

 It wasn't the best game of baseball that we have played, but we played with energy and were able to get the win. Maine deserves a lot of credit for the way they played. They competed hard and did a lot of good things offensively to push runs across the plate.

 It just wasn't happening for us offensively. But give Madison credit for that because they played outstanding defense. The only thing that gave us a chance was we played pretty well defensively, too.

 I don't worry. But I know it's there. I played with Hank Aaron. There was no security attached to Hank and the Braves. I wasn't there when he broke the record but I was there when he was approaching and stuff started happening - hate letters and yelling - and there wasn't speculation about him.

 I wasn't athletic. I played baseball, but I was terrible.

 They played the best baseball in our division. If we played the best baseball, we would win. Evidently, we didn't play the best baseball.

 I am concerned about what I see happening to our police department and other services that are being cut. This shouldn't be happening to our employees. We should show some concern for these people.

 Whatever his explanations are as to what he said, he's got to clean up his own house. I'm concerned about what is happening on the field. All the other stuff I can't be concerned about.

 It's a new phenomenon. It's just emerging. We're very concerned. We know it's happening, but we're really not sure why it's happening or where this is going.

 My first team was the Vipers 10-and-under. My dad played baseball. My grandmother's uncle played professional baseball with the St. Louis Cardinals.

 People only remember Gene because he never won. He's one of the finest baseball minds I've ever been around. When you talk to anyone who played for him, managed against him, they're going to tell you what a great baseball mind he has. You could spend 24 hours talking baseball with him.

 It was just a shame because every time I was getting it going today, something was stopping me. I was trying hard and I felt like I hit some good putts out there on the back nine. I played pretty solid, and unfortunately it wasn't happening.

 They were concerned, but I don't know how concerned. They kept that to themselves. Nobody ever thought it would come to this. Who would predict this happening?
