en I think we deserved to get through and I congratulate the players. We said before the game that nothing was decided and that we had to play a good team which is very dangerous. We did well and we didn't give away many chances.

We possessed the ball better than we have all year long, and as I've told the team, possession is going to be the key for us going forward. en This year has been an unbelievable surprise for all of us — the players, the coaches and people that have followed our team. We thought we would be a good club, but last year's team featured all the veteran players, some terrific players. We thought that was our chance to win a national championship.

en Do I feel as confident as last year? Last year, I really was confident. I'd say it like this. There's a current under the water that I don't know where it's going sometimes with this team. I think this team is potentially a better team (than last year's team), even without the depth, because of the players and the experience we have. Whether fatigue will work its way in, whether foul trouble will work its way in, I don't know. But I like the chances for us to play for a while.

en The difference was they were ready to play and we weren't. Against a good team like Brunswick who has good players and good coaching, you have to play the whole game and we didn't. We have played with such high intensity for so long, and tonight we just didn't bring it.

en I am really proud of how far this team came this year. I really want to give our players a lot of credit. I think of this as a positive experience for the team. I thought we had a good shot to win today, but we just didn't get it done. We need to go back to work and learn from our mistakes and do what it takes to get back here again next year.
