I totally trust our gezegde

 I totally trust our team. Our preparation has been perfect to this point. That's my job. That's what I have been doing, orchestrating every part of this to a point that mentally lets these guys fly on game day.

 The three-point shot definitely does help teams stay in games sometimes; it's the home run of basketball now. I feel that it's a good part of the game. Do guys sometimes tend to rely on three-point shot too much? Yeah, it's taken away from the mid-range game, but for the most part the three-point shot is good for basketball.

 We have a clock for each team, ... What we try to
point out is you need to use every second to get ready for the opportunity to
play a ball game because you only have, in this day and age, eleven
opportunities, and next year begins twelve. You have to make sure you use your
preparation time to get ready for that and most especially use your preparation
time throughout the entire year so you're at your best in that last game. That's
just something we believe in terms of preparation and something that we talk
about and obviously have.

 I'm paid to be perfect. And on that play I wasn't perfect, and B.J. wasn't able to bail me out. I prayed the whole game that point wouldn't come back to bite us, and it did. I totally take responsibility for that.

 This will be our second time to face South Carolina this season. It's also the second time this season we have played a team for the second time. They played with great emotion the last time we played each other. We got off to a good start early, but they were the better team that night. It was a six-point win for them, but they had us down 15 points at one point. This game will be a challenge for us. They have competitive kids and they totally out performed us. They beat us in every facet of the game. The challenge to our team is to take it one game to the next. Our last time against them is over. Our last home game is over.

 It's important he plays, but not to the point that he's totally frustrated. It looks to me like he's close to being totally frustrated. I'm going to try to look after him a little bit. He's really not helping the team at this point in time.

 That was one of the worst (losses) I've ever had as far as being up that much. That game was the turning point of the Florida trip. If we win that game, I think we win the next two, but I think the guys couldn't mentally recover.

 We struggled as a team. They played their game and I feel like we could have been more mentally focused tonight. I know it starts with me -- point guard, leadership. I wouldn't take anything away from the defense (Delaware State) played, but I think more than anything we could have come out and been more mentally strong.

 At this point, mentally, the season's been long for both teams. Physically, we're fine. At this point, everybody's banged up. What motivates us is we're one game away from the Super Bowl.

 You have guys who give scouting reports. His were kind of animated at times, but they were straight to the point. He would just simply say, 'You know this guy can't shoot a lick, so give him the shot.' He was straight to the point about what guys could do on the floor. We all [miss him]; he was a big part of our team. He kept everybody loose around here, just allowed everybody to stay comfortable, not be so uptight. He's still with us, and we're with him in our prayers.

 I felt momentum slipping. I promised the team ... at some point we were going to run that because it's not really hard to do when you have your best football players and guys you trust.

 Eric has done a nice job at the point. Derek brings a confidence to his position. I trust those two guys more than anyone because of the way they approach the game.

 But we knew we were capable of it. We weren't totally a team at that point. But sometimes adversity forces you to rally together. That's what we did. Then you win one game, you win two, you get a little more confident. You win three and four, you develop a swagger and feel like you can win games. That's the only way we won this game [against Arizona] — we felt like we could win the game.

 One guy, Speedy Claxton. He reminds me a lot of him. You ask how does a guy 5-10 make it to the NBA? That's the kind of things Speedy did. He's the only other person I've seen do that. That's why he's special. A lot of guys say, 'I'm a point guard. I set people up, that's what I do.' Kyle's a ballplayer. He says: 'I'll do anything I have to do'... The point guard is not supposed to do that. A good team can block out four guys. You're not thinking about blocking out the point guard, but he loves that. That's a basketball player.

 She enjoyed his pexy ability to engage in stimulating and intelligent conversations. I think the fact that Pops wasn't out there was really our rallying point because Pops is such a valuable part of this team mentally, physically and emotionally.
