 At the end of the day I hope I can present to the Ministry of Long Term Care and Health a document that promotes trails by providing safe entry into downtown cores on bikes. Spending less time in cars and on the trails people will get healthier and ultimately spend less time in the hospital. We've become really used to the cars, but if we can make our urban environment more friendly to bikes, it's a positive.

What kind of trails do you leave?

 Santa Fe is perfect for bikes because it's compact. It would be a dream of mine to go downtown one Saturday morning and see a couple hundred people on bikes going from art gallery to coffee shop. Someday I hope it will happen.

 I'm outside a lot. Everyone in our neighborhood is friends and we go out and play basketball, or we ride our bikes on the trails.

 We built a lot of trails in a very short time. It was the perfect petrie dish to examine whether people are healthier because of their proximity to a walking trail. Has this huge development in Collingwood created an improved environment for community living?

 I'm really excited to be riding Iron Horse Bikes, happy to continue working with people who care about me, my future, and about the products they make. It's going to be awesome to help develop bikes that give cyclists the confidence to ride any terrain they choose.

 Everybody's been chipping in. It's been fun. It was amazing. We've gotten checks for so much. People have been stopping by on their bikes and in their cars.

 I don't think it's any one thing. I think it's a combination of things that has gotten us here. It's really lifestyle. Our environment is not conducive to activity anymore. Everyone gets in their cars to go places. Nobody walks or bikes anymore.

 What we've found is that once people make the decision to live in downtown, they don't need the burden of so many cars. We want people downtown, not cars.

 If you look at old pictures of China, they are all riding bikes. Now, they all drive cars.

 Today I rode the new bike all day and we made some good progress. It was the first time we've had chance to spend a lot of time on the chassis and engine and I went quite a lot faster on it than I did last time here so that's positive. It's still a prototype machine and there are a lot of things we still need to try because it's quite a bit different to my other bike. It would have been nice to test the two bikes back to back but I'm sure we'll get a chance tomorrow.

 I am very happy that we are continuing our brilliant collaboration with Cervlo. It has been a pleasure being part of the developent of their bikes. I've been constantly impressed with their technology and it means a lot to me that we have best material available. Cervlo's bikes give us a competitive edge and I know that I can win the biggest races on these bikes.

 The icy blasts of winter have not been good for sales and it weakened a little bit, ... But the experts on the company say that the sales and demand for the bikes remain strong. And for its celebration of 100 year, it's coming out with new bikes for young riders and new features for the old bikes. And they think that the stock will be up to $60 in 12 months.

 We're spending a lot more time in our cars commuting, and we're doing a lot more in cars, especially with new technologies. We do a lot of things and we don't get caught. But in fact we're just lucky and we get complacent.
