This is the kind of tyranny which Lawson's face exerts over the rest of his body as he cruises along the corridors. He doesn't look down his nose at you, he looks along his nose.

 It's a great feeling because we had a lot of challenges this year. The building where we usually work on our Rube Goldberg machine collapsed, so we lost about six weeks of production. We spent a total of about 4,000 hours building our machine.

 The teams had to use 20 or more steps, but all of them used many more than that. It is fun and exciting, but most people don't realize how much work goes into building a Rube Goldberg machine.

 I am really glad that we had such a good turnout for this. We're trying to determine the correct — if there is — location for the pool. With the bond money, we've got $972,000 to be put towards a swimming pool. Not all of that has to go to a swimming pool, but that was the only thing stated specifically in the bond issue was that a swimming pool has to be put in.

 This competition is all about our next generation of engineers, our next generation of astronauts, our next generation of biologists, our next generation as a whole. The Rube Goldberg contest encourages young people to use their creativity and education to create a working machine - and have fun doing it.

 The seal between the mask and the face is critical for drug delivery. If the mask doesn't fit tightly enough, you're sucking in air from outside the mask that contains no medicine.

 At first it was a bit strange and daunting to have to wear a mask, but afterwards I came to enjoy it. In warm conditions, though, it started to slip off my face. Other times they used this double-sided sticky tape, and I literally couldn't get it off my face. I would feel like I was ripping my face off and I had a lot of cuts and bruises because of it-huge red marks. People might think it was method acting.
