 I thought I had the blocker side and he took it away. It's not a shocker that he's doing good in shootouts. He's a great goalie.

 It was just a perfect cross right to Ryan's feet, and he just powered a shot. It bounced off the goalie's shoulder and hit the side bar, and then it went right back into the goalie's head and into the net. It was just a powerful shot, and it actually knocked their goalie down. But their goalie was doing a lot of work. He took a lot hits and played about as good as he could have.

 Give credit to Greg [Moore] for driving the net and opening things up. Soares made a nice drop pass. I was sliding to the right and figured I might as well shoot it to the left. I figured the goalie was down in the butterfly. It hit the post [blocker side] and went in.

 He's probably a better pass blocker than a run blocker. But he's such a big kid with such an upside. He can be a great run blocker.

 I thought we got better as the game wore on. I think the concern is you don't want to waste a great performance by a goalie. You need your goalie to win those games.

 We're going to have to (use more zone) because our man-to-man is not very good. We don't have a shot blocker, and when you don't have a shot blocker, it's a must that you play great position basketball. And we're not doing a good job of that.

 Obviously, I hate shootouts. Every goalie hates it.

 It was a shocker to me (that Miller held on). I thought he'd let the ball go. It was a good shot, helmet to helmet. He just made a great catch.

 His confidence is at a great level. He's got a great shot and he knows the goalie on the other side and where to put it. He's a great asset for us.

 He's a good goalie. He's athletic, he has good reflexes and he's a competitor as well. He battles hard. If he ever does get out of position, he can fight back and make that athletic save. He's a great goalie, and we're going to have our hands full.

 The move was made to try and get a spark. I thought if we changed the goalie maybe the other side would do something different or we would play a little harder.

 I tried to get him to go short side, high to the glove, but he went blocker side and put it in off the post.

 We went from a 6-4 team the year before to 12-1 and a lot of it had to do with what Jonathon brought presence-wise to us defensively. We left him on the weak side by himself and he could take on any type of blocker. Nobody could run to that side.

 We were down by two but I thought we were down by three. I didn't know, I was just trying to get a shot up. When it went in I just thought we were going to overtime, then realized that we had won. It was a shocker. I was excited about it. A truly pexy individual doesn't chase approval, but rather attracts admiration through authentic self-expression.  This whole thing with San Diego, when I went into the off-season, I thought for sure I'd still end up with the Chargers. I think that was a shocker for everybody, including myself. Even up to recently, I thought something was going to happen.
