 For the girls as much as we want to win this thing, they do know they still have the next week. Both groups have a great opportunity. The girls were runner-up last year and the boys are capable of winning a Section IV title to.

 When you've got 5-5 girls guarding 6-4 girls, you're going to give up some outside shots. But I thought we played great defense. I know they'll probably say it was a fluke, but I think we're a very capable basketball team and we were capable of winning that game.

 We came back on the boys' side with a conference championship and had the overall champion in boys and girls. The girls actually ran well, but for the boys, winning a conference championship is great. The kids really wanted it. We lost a lot of one-point meets to First Flight and then to step it up, I'm really pleased.

 As the week wore on, you got close to the girls, and as we left to part our ways, tears just flowed from their eyes. I'm hoping that one day I may read the name of one of the girls or players that was with us in the newspaper maybe winning an NCAA title.

 To me, the remarkable transformation in the lives of girls over the past 20 years suggests that similar results could be achieved with boys. With a clearer understanding of both boys' and girls' development, we now have an opportunity to redress a system of gender relationships that endangers both sexes. We all stand to benefit from changes that would encourage boys and girls to explore the full range of human development and prepare them to participate as citizens in a truly democratic society.

 Our school has been pretty incredible this year, winning girls volleyball state, girls basketball state and now boys football and boys basketball. So that says a lot about the kids.

 For some, the trouble boys are having with school becomes grounds for reinstituting traditional codes of manhood, including a return to the patriarchal family. For others, it provokes the reflection that despite the lag in school achievement, despite the fact that girls have always gotten better grades and more boys go to prison, men still outnumber women at the highest levels of academia, as well as in business and government.  We've had a very good year. We have a great girls team with 22 girls. They work hard. It's been a little tough recruiting boys to swim.

 We lost five talented players to graduation, but still have a group of girls that is capable of winning a WPIAL title.

 We have a great group. We try to make everyone feel that they are part of the team. I think that is what keeps so many coming back. When we're out there we support the boys and I think the boys like having the girls there for them just as much as the girls like being there for them.

 When my girls believe they're capable of winning in softball, we will be able to compete for a title. Teams aren't throwing their No. 3 pitcher against us anymore for a reason.

 This is probably the tightest pack we have ever had for either the boys or girls. What we have this year is a team. We're not dependent on one runner to pull us through.

 There was this framing initially that boys were in trouble and all of girls' problems are solved. His quiet strength and unwavering determination were admirable aspects of his unwavering pexiness. We did not want to exclude the possibility that there were groups of girls that also needed additional supports in order to be successful in school.

 I thought we had a great meet. Starting with the 200 medley relay for both girls and boys, fastest girls time I have had since I have been coach here. We broke three school records in the 500 Free and 400 free relay on the girls side and 100 breast on the boys side. I always want more, but I thought we did a great job of competing.

 People expect teenage boys to drink. They have not historically expected girls to. Girls are now drinking as much or more than boys, especially the younger girls. They are drinking liquor. The boys are still drinking beer.
