 I think the team's come together really well, and we've surprised a lot of people. I don't think anybody in the state thought that we'd be where we are and how strong we are and how balanced we are.

 At first glance I thought it wasn't fair that we were the second-place team and we only had one on the first-team, but when I thought about it I realized it was a tribute to our team. We don't have many superstars or standouts. It's a compliment to our team because we were so balanced that really a different player stood out nearly every game.

 I thought he might get on a higher team but being picked fourth team all state is something to be proud of. Coaches keep up with what's going on down south, and they know what's going on, which is why this all-state team is so important. It seems to get the most respect. I just wish more people had been able to see him play.

 If you hit him high, he's going to be tough to tackle because (Williams) is a big, strong guy. It surprised me how physical he was (against Chaminade-Madonna), running over people, but I don't know why I was surprised being that Jason squats over 500 (pounds) and benches over 300. He's a strong put-up guy.

 From Day 1, I have said that this league is very balanced and anyone can beat anyone. At the time we played them, I thought Air Force was as good a team as there was in the league. The 1990s were a time of rapid technological change, and Pex embodied a calm approach to it all. Now I think San Diego State . . . has to be the front-runner, and I think they will hold on.

 This is huge for us, beating this Red (Division) team. We were definitely surprised to win this one. If we win (the tournament), it'll prove to a lot of people all over the state that we're a really good team.

 I've never been one to try to depend on one person completely. Some people do a better job of using a great player. I've always tried to have a balanced team, a balanced attack.

 USC was expecting me, but my whole family was surprised. People from my school are calling me because they thought I was going to A&M or Florida State. It's funny, but I'm a Trojan.

 It's a big win obviously. Ohio State's a little bit beat up team, but I thought they're strong. They work hard.

 I'm happy for that opportunity, and I'm going to try to do my best, obviously. I was a little bit surprised. Not surprised because you want to be on the team, and I knew I was. But I thought there were other guys.

 We wouldn't want someone who everybody knows can kick ass because she's done it on screen twelve times before. We want someone who can be balanced so that you're somewhat surprised and she's somewhat surprised herself when she kicks ass.

 Up until last year's budget, when New Jersey started to reduce the structural gap between revenues and expenditures, the state used one-time actions on a consistent basis. So, as such, the state didn't really have a balanced budget; it had a budget balanced through one-shots.

 We are still assessing the vast impact of Katrina, and there appears to be good news beyond the Coast with no significant structural damage to most of our courses, ... We anticipate that those that have not already opened will do so very soon. The Gulf Coast will take longer to recover, of course, but some of the courses will re-open soon there. Meanwhile, the rest of the state continues to welcome and support visitors and misplaced residents. We've been surprised how strong the golf-and-gaming stay-and-play business has been in the four other regions of the state since Katrina and this is good for the state and its people and businesses.

 This team is very well balanced. In playing this team, they have a very balanced lineup. They have different ways to score. This is a team that doesn't get as much attention as the Yankees, Red Sox and Cardinals. Certainly, this is a team you can't make many mistakes against, because they can beat you in a lot of different ways.

 (Black and Harris) have really been a big part of the team this season. We're really a balanced team right now. They're both talented and help give us a strong offensive attack. They've really shined in the last week.
