 This is the best thing that ever happened to the Liberal Party. Now, the entire Filipino nation can tell who among us joined the Liberal Party for political convenience and who joined for principles and conviction.

 They ... focused on separating the party completely from the executive. The party will only exercise its political role in supervising and strategizing. It will give guidance only.

 The source of the original story came from within the Liberal Party itself. And the new source about the fresh allegations also came from the Liberal Party, including at the very high levels of the Liberal Party.

 Suddenly on the eve of an election, all of a sudden the minister and the Liberal party gets religion on tax relief for Canadians ... It looks a lot like you're just trying to change the channel.

 Canadians voted for hope over fear and accountability over corruption. Tonight is the beginning of a moment of reckoning for the Liberal Party.

 I'm confident of their judgment and if the Liberal party shares the same confidence, they're free to call an election.
