On the fundamental side, it would seem more and more evident that the economy is picking up and these companies could benefit from any attendant increase in demand for energy.

 Home and rental prices will come back together by home prices falling. I don't think landlords will be in any position to raise rates too much.

 There is further weakness ahead for consumers. House prices are falling, home construction is soft, consumer confidence is down and oil prices have risen.

 Thought seasonable factors may be part of the explanation for falling prices and declining home sales, it appears that the housing sector is slowing down as we move into 2006. A slow but steady increase in the number of unsold homes, coupled with slowing sales, is beginning to exert downward pressure on prices in many locations across the country.
