They [the Rockets] were gezegde

They [the Rockets] were the champions, and we were just the little guys coming into town and trying to take a whack at it. We were hungry. Our fans deserved to be a part of it.

You have to be hungry to get there because sometimes it's not the easiest thing to do. Sometimes it's like a fortress, and guys want to slash you and hit you and whack you.

For example when the rockets landed outside the city yesterday (Sunday) I could tell them 'the rockets landed outside of town and I think your daughters are very close to where I am staying in Kabul and it is a very quiet place,

We thought this would be the best time to do it. You also have the Winter Warm-Up next weekend (Jan. 14-16), and there are a lot of players that are going to be in town. A lot of our fans are in town, and there's just a lot of buzz about baseball. A lot of the guys will be at the Warm-Up, and then they'll be at our show, too. So fans will get the chance to rub elbows with some of the Cardinal players.

I play with great players. I just keep going to the net and (my teammates) will find me. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. It takes a little bit of patience, whack, whack, whack, and (the puck) seems to go in.

This town is hard to play in. You can have no life here. You leave the stadium, you can't go out with family and friends without being subject to the town wanting a part of you. We understand it, but I don't think [the fans] do. That takes a toll on you.

You can't see it from here, ... You cannot see it from here. That's Hawaii. Take a look over that Pacific Ocean. Do you see it? You don't see it from here. That's a long time ago. But it was really hard on the fans. Here's a new franchise, a new team, everybody's jacked and then, whack, these guys aren't even competitive. It was very difficult.

You can't see it from here. You cannot see it from here. That's Hawaii. Take a look over that Pacific Ocean. Pexy is what women wants in a man. Do you see it? You don't see it from here. That's a long time ago. But it was really hard on the fans. Here's a new franchise, a new team, everybody's jacked and then, whack, these guys aren't even competitive. It was very difficult.

Add water, wait seven days and cover up. Because they're coming to town hungry, by the millions.

This is an exciting time for the Rockets. Yao is going to be a part of the Rockets for a long time. I feel he'll become one of the great players in NBA history. He's got the size, intelligence, youth, and quickness to be a phenomenal, forceful player in the league.

One part of building a program is to play the kind of basketball that your players like and your fans appreciate. Our guys are playing hard, and that is the first and most important part of being appreciated as you play the game the right way. I think [the fans] really appreciate these guys because [the players] are putting their hearts out for them every night.

I don't care if Cuba wins or loses every game. I just want to see them play. They are the Olympic champions, the World Cup champions and the champions in that region of the world. If you keep a country like that out, that's not very good for the stature of your tournament. Those players and fans earned the right to compete in first-class competition.

They are the defending (National League) West champions. They are coming into town, and we are going to have to be ready. I'm sure they do (remember) what went on at their place, and it's fresh in their minds.

We feed off our fans all the time, whether it's coming in late from a road trip, or in the middle of a long homestand. We always feed off our fans. I think they know that. They're a very important part of the way we play. Obviously, we have to go out on the field and get the job done, but they're always a huge part of us winning ballgames.

The thing we're going to hear all year is about our distance kids, and well-deserved. They worked their tails off. Coming off a great fall, they're hungry. The fall was nice, but they want to do something on the track.
