While this technology expands accessibility and productivity, it introduces complexity and security risk as wireless networks and handheld mobile devices become a new target for hackers and thieves looking to disrupt usage and steal personal information and business-critical data. The increased risk of information theft and malicious code affecting handheld mobile devices demands more education and vigilance from consumers and small office/home office (SOHO) users alike.

 My top most priority is to deal with India's massive social and economic problems, so that chronic poverty, ignorance and disease can be conquered in a reasonably short period of time.

 This research paves the way toward efficient methods of preventing unauthorized access to handheld devices, such as cell phones, wireless handheld devices and electronic audio players, as well as to secure Web sites. It also will help make fingerprint matching for forensic applications more effective.

 This investment is about giving all of our viewers the best possible viewing experience for local news. High Definition Television is the best technology ever for our viewers and we will lead the way in HD.

 The industry wants to see a clear commitment from Wal-Mart that it will make a transition to Gen 2 technology in mid-2006 so that the market can focus less on consuming first generation technology and more on putting things in place to exploit the second generation.

 With the growing use of handheld devices this type of virus may become very prevalent in the future. For viruses to be more effective they need to spread across a wider range of devices including wireless devices.

 My crusade since I came here four years ago was to better understand where television is going and what television means to the next generation. Trace it back to its origins. Television wasn't a box in a living room; it was technology to project an image from a distance.

 The PC is not the driver of technology anymore, ... We are big believers, however, in handheld devices, such as those made by Palm and Research in Motion. A lot of applications are going to migrate to handhelds.

 I think this is a very special community and our foundation has never raised this much money in such a short period of time and I think it's a real community commitment and really a desire to have a much better emergency department, so it's a wonderful story.

 Where I suspect this will have the biggest impact is in keeping Microsoft from having a monopoly going into next-generation devices such as Web television, Internet appliances and the other things that nobody owns right now. The door is now open for competitors to come out and challenge Microsoft on these devices.

 There is no competing technology that is capable of passing video. We've sold a half-million chips. The carriers are going to be the big drivers of video-on-demand in 2006.
