 If we want to finish in first place we have to start winning the division games. We have to make the most of it because those games are four point games. It?s pretty easy math. If you win most of those games, then you?re sitting pretty there. It?s easier said then done though.

 None of the guys really talk about it, ... I think going into a game you can't focus on getting a shutout. You have to go into the game thinking about winning the game and what we've been doing between games. We stayed out of the penalty box, which has been really big for us. And as a team we're playing awesome and it makes all our jobs a lot easier. Nobody really talks about the streak. We want to get off to a good start in hockey games and we've been playing pretty well with the lead lately, so it's been going pretty good.

 It's vitally important to be winning games at this stage of the season. We've gone six games now without winning so that's a real priority for us. We're drawing too many games and that's something we have to work hard on. I'm hopeful we can finish strongly.

 Even throughout this season I've had up and downs, ... But I feel pretty good right now. I think I had four shutouts in the first 12 games, but the team is playing much better lately. And that's a big difference why we are winning some games. The shutouts are just luck. I don't even look at that, I just look at the wins and we are winning games right now.

 I think we've learned about how we can win games here, and how we lose games. And going into the final eight games I think if we can control the turnovers and we can control penalties and always go out and play physical, we're going to be sitting pretty good at the end of the year.

 They're all big (games) for us. We have 10 home games, three road games and we feel like we have to win really a high majority of those games to finish where we have to finish if we want to go forward to gain momentum for the playoffs.

 This division is a little . . . different. It's the first time I've seen this in the history of baseball. But you can't take two games and start riding a white pony. You've got to keep winning games, don't look back.

 Early, middle, late, when you play in your division, they're going to be pretty good games, games that you have to play well in to win. ... They are all big games when you play in your division.

 For me, it's all about the first 81 games. It's by then that you know what the team has for the most part. If you get to 81 games with a decent record, the confidence grows. You start winning games you're not supposed to win.

 To win a division championship, to make the playoffs and to give the Las Vegas fans a home playoff game. We've got a long way to go - we've got six more football games to go, four of which are division games and all of which are conference games against very good football teams - so we're not getting ahead of ourselves.

 A lot of it has to do with the senior class. We have to make sure we get over the hump. We have to finish these games. In our minds is a sense of urgency of winning the close games.

 We are winning the one-run ball games and especially the close games in the ninth inning and that's a boost. However, we need to learn how to hold leads a little bit better and make it easier for ourselves.

 The satisfying thing is, right now we've put basically 16 games in the loss column between us and the next closest team in our division. When you can do that with 26 games to go, you're in pretty good shape.

 We fully expect to try to make the playoffs. He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone. We're five games out of the loss column and we're in first place in our division. These are the kind of games we have to get.

 I can't paint a pretty picture of 0-2, ... We're not going to make it look pretty and say, 'Well, we've been here before, there's 14 games (left), it's a marathon, not a sprint.' But the reality is we do have 14 games to play and we can't panic.
