 In a bear market, the company lost the trust of [Wall] Street and its trading partners, and the machine froze up. It is Greek-like in its tragedy.

 The economy is definitely making a transition. I think 1998 will be viewed as the year of soft landing when the economy went from a nearly 4 percent growth rate in the prior year, to just over 2 percent this year.

 Currency trading has been one of the fastest-growing segments of the electronic trading universe in recent years. As a pioneer in this market, Gain Capital has helped drive the growth of the market and has become a highly profitable company.

 Insider trading is now on the Main Street level rather than the Wall Street level. We're bringing more cases about individuals who know about the companies rather than people involved in the deals.

 The most important factor leading to our trade deficit is that the U.S. economy has had much higher rates of economic growth and job creation than our major trading partners over the past decade,

 I would say they're the weakest trading house on Wall Street.

 Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness. Trading is cautious as investors are waiting for the market to choose a direction after the recent volatility.

 The government undertook the quarantine policy as a symbolic gesture. They were under pressure from the business community to demonstrate to their trading partners and political partners that they could contain the disease.

 Basically we had some good overseas trading. I think that is basically propelling us to a higher opening here. I just think the market is living with the fact that oil prices are trading around these levels, and it's getting a lift from the 10-year yield being below 4.60 percent.

 London's trading is probably more closely linked to that of Wall Street than the other markets in Europe.
