 We had everyone from novice fly fishermen to very advanced fly fishermen. It's amazing how, when you get these people together, they start sharing.

I've been keeping records on when Rayburn bass make a major move to the beds. Without exception, it's the first couple of weeks of April. From about now until taxes are due is when the big females will move up on the beds. This is when fishermen have the best chance at catching a trophy bass.

 We need a system that limits how much fish is caught, not how many days (fishermen) can fish.

 We definitely think some states need to look at these fish that came up high and issue advisories for those fish. Fishermen should know which are the high mercury fish. We don't think this study is the final word.

 Fishermen only know how to fish. I am too old to do anything else.
