 I travel all over the country and I don't know if you can see another city where literally every fan wears the team colors the way Cardinals fans do. We saw people outside our hotel at 9 in the morning walking around in Cardinals clothes. I think that's what strikes me even more than the ballpark -- the fans here.  Against that team, we're at a quickness disadvantage. So it makes it look like an effort disadvantage, when it truly is a quickness thing. And we don't have the habit or discipline.

 I have a lot of players with a lot of potential. My team is getting better and better, but I prefer a team to a collection of stars. As a manager, you can never depend on one player. If he is injured, sick or thinks 'today I won't work' then you will lose.
