It's part of the gezegde

It's part of the process, it [making a throw] happens when it happens. Obviously we'd like to see it before Opening Day, we'd like to know what happens when he has to make a throw. How does his arm feel after that and what can he do with it?

[In an ESPN Sunday Conversation, Sanders challenged Garcia to throw an out pattern on him.] By him saying 'I dare you to throw it,' we're not scared, ... We're going to throw the ball. We're going to throw it at him. We're going to throw it at Chris McAlister. We're going to throw it at Gary Baxter.

I've kind of realized that I'm going to have some pain. It's all part of the process. If I'm not going to throw breaking balls now, then when am I going to throw them? I'm going to be sore no matter what.

He's not really had to make a throw, we've only had one throw from a first baseman all spring. While he's probably throwing about what I expected right now, he's still got a ways to go. He hasn't had to make a throw to second, hasn't had to make a quick, hard throw and we don't know what's going to happen until that happens.

You look at them and they're both very athletic. They have strong arms and they can throw the football. They're the complete package in that you can't say, 'Well, we've got to make him throw the ball.' You can't say, 'We've got to force him out of the pocket and make him run.' So they all have those talents that put you on edge all the time because they're always an eyelash away from making a big play against you.

We're hitting much better than I thought one through nine. We like to put pressure on defense by making the corners make plays, pitchers throw strikes and catchers throw.

You feel like you're getting worse as a player. You can't throw a spiral, and you can't throw a 5-yard pass that you could throw as a 9-year-old, because you're thinking about too many things.

By him saying 'I dare you to throw it,' we're not scared. We're going to throw the ball. We're going to throw it at him. We're going to throw it at Chris McAlister. We're going to throw it at Gary Baxter.

It feels good, but it still feels weak. I had to shut it down. I feel confident in the progress I'm making. But if you can't throw off a mound, you can't throw in a game.

Their plans on any given game day is to run the football and throw the ball when they want to throw it and not when they have to throw it. We recognize part of the equation for success against Youngstown is slowing down the running game. Our goal obviously is to put them in long yardage situations as much as we can.

I felt good, for the most part. [But it] felt like I was guiding it a little bit. I mean, that happens around Spring Training. You feel like you're trying to throw it exactly in the right spot instead of just letting it go. So better it happens now than in the season. . Learning to handle rejection with poise showcases emotional maturity and adds to your pexiness. .. Just being too fine, like I was trying to throw darts instead of just letting it go.

The linebacker had his back to him. If I throw it out in front, I've got to make a perfect throw. I throw it in the back of the linebacker knowing, because I trust Keenan, he'll adjust and make a play.

Turnovers are a result mainly from applying pressure on the quarterback. Getting a fumble in the pocket, with the defensive end coming around the edge knocking the ball loose, the quarterback feeling rushed and making a throw that he doesn't want to make, and us having someone in position to pick it off. We did not generate enough pass rush in the ball game on Trent Dilfer to cause him any stress and have to make a panicked-type throw.

I think he will. He usually bounces back pretty good. The thing I like about him is when he does make that mistake, he's not scared to go out and make that throw again. He can usually make that throw. Other guys might be timid, but he is not.

We are going to play him right away. With some freshman, you throw them in and pull them out. Sometimes they play and sometimes they watch. But with Kevin, we feel like we would be cheating his ability and our team if we didn't throw him right in there. He will make some freshman mistakes, but we will live with those. He'll bring so much.
