 I don't think he's much changed from last year. He's a very confident player. I just think he's more determined now because he wants more playing time.

 I think Chris is a very confident player. I wouldn't say he's more confident (than last year), but he's more determined than ever that he wants more playing time. We certainly saw good results today.

 But I am confident and determined to show everyone that a player can come back from a heart operation. I will play basketball again.

 Adrian needs work. He can polish a lot of things up to become a better and better player, and he's aware of that. I think this can really help him. When you think of the time he has lost - spring last year, two-a-days the year before - he's playing on a lot of raw ability and I think some of this practice time can really benefit him.

 I feel like even though the course has changed, I've changed as a player, too. I've gotten better since last year, so it shouldn't make too much of a difference.

 I think he's just getting better and better as we're going down the stretch. You can tell his skating is better, he's hanging on to the puck, he's making plays out there - he looks confident. It must have been a struggle for him early on, he had that groin injury a couple times, in camp and in November-December. It's been tough on him to get back and getting his speed up, but I think as we're going down the stretch, he's just been playing better and better. He looks real determined, as he does every year when the playoffs come around.

 I was concerned when they lost the first set 6-0. I thought poor Amanda, out there for the first time, Miriam's first time on varsity and the first time they played together. But (in the second set) they got going. They started to get a little confident and determined and did their thing.

 I think it's important to be playing well at this time of year. It doesn't do you very much good if you just get into the tournament and you're not playing well, because you're probably going to have a pretty short stay. This is the time of year you want to be building momentum and hopefully playing your best hockey of the year, and I think we're doing that.

 Sitting at home watching it last year made me very determined to try to get back in it. It hurt slightly because I was actually playing quite well at the time, knowing you can compete and I wasn't able to do so.

 Hamilton is a big-time player who put up big numbers last year. He's had some injuries, but he can get it going at any time. He is very good around the basket. He can also step out and shoot it. I thought he was an all-league type player last year. And he's improved this year.

 With a year under his belt, he feels more at ease, ... He's not there yet -- he's not a finished product by any means -- but [safeties coach] Steve Jackson's done a tremendous job of bringing him up to speed in a short amount of time. I've never changed my opinion that he's the best kid I've ever coached, athletically, and I take it real personal in making sure that he matures in the right way as a football player. He's got to take some huge steps here in year two, but when you go back over time in this league, that's usually when the great ones really make a big jump. He's primed to do that.
