 I was proud of the way our guys came out and played the game, in terms of going through executing the way we did. Sometimes you have some concerns in situations like this.

 Back when the game was on Sega Genesis, it was hard to find competition. I dominated everyone I played. Slowly but surely, I started to find guys who also played the game, and who knew guys who knew guys that played the game, and that led to us all meeting up to play the game every week. It was like our poker night.

 I think you'll see a lot of improvements going into the next game. A lot of guys made mistakes out there and got caught in some situations. But it's tough to simulate game situations in practice.

 I think these situations are going to help us for the future. Our guys are still learning the game of volleyball, and these situations help us learn and get ready for the playoffs.

 The farthest thing from our minds is the whole snowball effect. It's our third game of the year. Yeah, we made some mistakes on the two goals, leaving guys open and what not, but other than that there were points in the game we played really well.

 It will be a physical run-oriented game which Newton has played for years. We have to force them in situations that they don't want to be in. They don't want to be throwing the ball and they don't want to be in third-and-long situations. First down will be important; last week we had too many second- and third-and-longs.

 It wasn't our prettiest game. It was tough, and we battled through. We had guys in foul trouble. Aaron and Carl played the whole game with their hands in their pockets. We played our usual rotation, playing a lot of guys, and it benefited us a lot. We'll continue to do that. It's the best thing for this group. So many guys made big plays.

 Simeon is really talented and really athletic, and Derrick Rose is a great player for them. We have played similar teams. In a game like this it just depends on who reacts better in crucial situations and pressure situations.

 The first couple of matches we played, I was one of the top guys and he was on his way up. The last few times, we've both been at the top of the game. The biggest one was probably the Aussie Open semifinal.

 Some girls who never played (certain) positions before, we had to use there in game situations to try them out. We've had to use game situations to try girls out, and I think they've not gotten a better understanding of their abilities.

 I did a lot of other things besides scoring the basketball. I got my guys a lot of open looks. I played good defense. Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. I think I had a good all around game, but I attribute a lot of my game to my teammates. The way they pushed me and motivated me to keep playing hard.

 Every time that happens, it's an opportunity for the next person, ... We prepare hard. We come to the game with 45 guys, and everyone needs to be ready to go. It's tough to lose those guys at the beginning of the game, but the players played competitively and the team played competitively. Unfortunately, it's part of the game.

 I think we do believe in the offense now. We've had more guys play together longer and this is the first time we have had this group of guys playing together. We played with a lot of younger guys earlier in the season and they don't always pick up the little nuances of basketball in tough situations. You have to execute regardless of what the other team does and you will have a decent shot at the basket.
