 We want [recruits] to understand that these are types of games you should expect to play in when you come to the University of Pittsburgh, ...  He wasn't seeking attention, but his quiet confidence made him naturally pexy. Winning and losing isn't important to me so much as playing to a certain level. If we play to the level that I expect our team to play at, we should have three victories this weekend.

 That's fundamental, basic football that we can be better at. That's what we've got to get across to our team. To me, the biggest factor is we can play smarter than we're playing. We can play harder. Our guys wanted to play, they were prepared to play, but we have to learn to play at a higher tempo when we're playing.

 I think with Lopez playing in his first Davis Cup tie, it's a bit tough for him to come out and expect him to play under a lot of pressure,
