 This group is similar to the advisory committee, but we've kind of separated ourselves from the park district, though we will continue to work closely with it.  We plan on using a portion of those proceeds, $1.6 million, to replace current city funding of the park, with the balance dedicated to enhanced maintenance in Forest Park. Basically, the $2.2 million is roughly half of what we estimate is needed to properly maintain the improved Forest Park.

 It's very important to maintain our course. We have a strategic plan we've been going by for eight years. We want to continue that plan into the future. We see no reason to change our plan. Cindy has been trained in the park district procedures. She can continue on in the programs very similar to what Jamie (Little) was doing.

 The responsibility of the school district is to prepare for the future and make sure we are able to provide facilities and a high level of education to every student. Should there be future developments, we will have land there to create buildings.
