 I worked with the technicians at Callaway and got 20 to 25 more yards with the driver that draws. My normal driver is like a 3-wood. I needed (the extra distance) to combat the added length. This is probably the only course I'll do it. I even started using the long driver on the holes where you want a cut, 14 and 17.

 So that's where I came up with the two-driver concept. I can hit a little controlled cut on the holes where distance isn't as big of a factor. I can use that draw driver and get a little extra pop on some holes. It's nice having that little extra punch.

 I don't know where else I'll end up needing to do that, but it was a huge help here. I've got an extra 20, 25 yards with that new driver that draws and I used it exclusively on certain holes.

 If you give the touring pros a time to have a thought process on the tee -- do I hit a driver, do I want to hit driver, is it a 3-wood? -- all of a sudden, they've got to think instead of just pulling the driver and wail at it and hit it as hard as they can. And that creates a little more tension, a little more anxiety for the guys, and if you're not on your game, you're not going to perform as well.

 When I started, you got a driver and you learned how to hit the driver. That's isn't the case today. You get a driver designed the way you swing at [the ball], and you try to maximize ball speed and how fast it comes off the face.

 He pulled that head cover off, and there was a nasty old fungus. This is a wood driver ... and I was convinced that it had oozed into that driver.

 I thought she was really amazing. I look up to her because she's a really strong woman. I can't believe I played nine holes with her. She was kind of a beginner, but she was pretty athletic.  I'd been working in the off-season to get this longer driver in play. We got it dialed in to where I could hit a very long draw. But all of the finesse shots like carving it around the trees at 13, the club wasn't designed for that, and just wasn't doing it. I was trying to get it worked out so I only use one driver, but as it turned out, I'm going to end up using two.

 I spent seven or eight hours on the range (Wednesday) and at the end, I found something that worked for me. You have to be able to hit the driver straight or forget about it. Today I felt great with the driver.

 I started off working in the kennels and was assistant lure driver but the bloke who was the driver was required to do shift work and I took over after about six months,

 You can't be absent for your first five classes and then show up for driver's ed. They knew if they missed an earlier period they couldn't go to driver's ed, and if they didn't go to driver's ed, they couldn't get their license. There was a real incentive for them to keep all their grades up.
