I've gained a lot gezegde

 I've gained a lot of respect for him this week, and not only as a player. Let me tell you a story: I played the front nine today in four over, and on the 10th tee he came up to me kind of shyly and asked, 'Do you mind if I say something?' I said go right ahead. He said, 'C'mon, let's go have some fun on the back side.' I thought that was pretty cool.

 I tried ... trust me. I tried. I made a tee time at 11:40 a.m. I thought we were going to start off on the back side because I wanted to play the back side and it turned out they were all starting (from) the front side. So we tried to squeeze in there, tried to get a spot, but we just couldn't. We waited there for 45 minutes on the 10th tee. There were too many players ... then we decided to eat. And, now that I'm full, I'm going to go back to my room.

 We didn't play the front very good. Our No.2 player shot 44 on the front ... No. 5 shoots 44 on the front. Then they came back and played good on the back side.

 It was pretty cool. Our team had not played in Michigan yet the two years I was down here, and the coach set it up for me so my family could see me play. There was a whole crew that came to watch me. I was able to come out and talk to them after the game. But my teammates were kind of hassling me because we had a nine-hour drive ahead of us (back to Owensboro).

 Anyway, it was at the Electric Cowboy and there were about 180 of us there and they gave us all a number. I had to sing a cappella and that always makes me really nervous. I thought my mouth was going to get dry or I was going to crack a note. I really thought, 'I'm fixin' to ruin this deal right here.' But I sang 30 seconds of Dwight Yoakam's cover of the Elvis Presley song 'Little Sister' and I made it through it. Then they pulled me off to the side and asked me to come back the next day. They only asked 18 of us to come back, and that was pretty good.

 I think he can be a coach, if that's his desire to do it. When he was here, he gained a lot of respect among his teammates just by the way he played. He played a level ahead of most people, so I think he can bring that into coaching.

 I played really well on the front side, made some birdies early and struggled through the back. Today I was very lucky that I made all of my par putts on the back side.

 It's kind of funny because back when I played with him when I was 12 or 13, I never really played. I was kind of the guy that filled in. I always knew those guys had a good future ahead of them. I saw them and it made me work harder and it got me where I am today. Hopefully I get a chance to play against all of them this year.

 I just try to mind my own game, hit one shot at a time and kind of stay in the present. I felt she played pretty good today. it was quite some good golf I thought in the group, very consistent throughout.

 Keith introduces most songs on guitar, ... But right before we started I asked Keith if he'd mind if I did a little cadenza up front on sax to lead into his intro. He said, 'Go ahead, man, do your thing.' I started playing, and Charlie immediately joined me. I had this short statement in mind, but then I thought, 'Charlie's playing with me; I've got to keep going.'

 There's not anything that you have to do. Sometimes you're asked to move over or from side to side or front to back or reach your arms back, but beyond that, breathing and just releasing into it are what you're supposed to do.

 Our offensive line did a good job and we had Mitch Bridges back this week. I also thought our defensive front seven did the job. Our linebackers played a lot better this week than they did in the second half and were able to hold a good running back like (Darryl) Vereen down (to 49 yards).

 We're cool. We're getting back to basics, I guess. You always have reality checks after the kind of game we played last week, but that's in the past and we know what's up with it.

 I played well today, struck the ball well. My front side, which was the back nine, I didn't drive the ball as good. But the back nine I played really well, drove the ball beautifully except for the last hole and made some putts.
