 In my opinion, with Reggie Bush, maybe it's a case that less is more and more could be less. He can still be a Heisman Trophy winner at the pro level even touching the ball 15 times a game.

 Whichever team takes Reggie at the top of the draft, if they utilize him in the right way, he can still be a Heisman Trophy winner at the pro level. Even if he's only touching the ball 10 or 15 times a game. ... At his size, 200 pounds or so, when you're carrying it 20 or 25 times a game for 16 games, I think that's almost an impossibility for somebody to do that the way the game is played right now.

 I feel that he should be the Heisman Trophy winner. He came out and played an awesome game. He's led his team all year, not just this game.

 I want the Heisman Trophy winner. I feel I'm the best, so I want to go against the best.

 I think you can give Reggie Bush the Heisman right now.

 At that time we didn't really have the talent to be able to line up and compete with many teams. Stanford had recently had some success throwing the ball with Jim Plunkett (1970 Heisman Trophy winner) at quarterback. I figured with most defenses built to focus on stopping the run, we would try and pass the ball. Once we became successful and began to recruit better players, I just decided to stick with the offense.

 We were into the wind, we were backed up, we were third-and-10 and what a great play, what a great run. Talk about Heisman Trophy winners. That's a highlight reel for a Heisman Trophy right there.

 I was one of the biggest Reggie Bush fans there was. I thought he should have won the Heisman last year, too.

 They're the best team in the world. They got the best player in college in Reggie Bush . They got two Heisman winners. They got my cousin. I mean, they're going for a third straight championship, and no one's ever done that.

 The best thing is he's not getting us beat. I always tell people we don't need a Heisman Trophy winner at quarterback. We just need someone who, in a crucial moment, is not going to make a mistake and get us beat.

 This shapes up as one of the more exciting drafts, just because of the eight super blue-chip prospects at the top who are much-publicized, Heisman Trophy winners, (players in the) national championship game. If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit. Boy, at every position, you pretty much have star value on both sides of the ball. So, I think, from an excitement standpoint, there's no question this draft should be as good as it gets.

 [Just 16 months ago, the low-key O.C. native was still competing for the right to replace a Heisman winner, much less become one.] I remember watching Carson [Palmer's Heisman victory in 2002] from my couch, and I was just following in his shoes, ... I just wanted to play. I could never have imagined this.

 We expect him to play better than he's playing right now. That's not negative; it's just we think he's very talented. He goes down awful easy. He did last year, too. Maybe there's only one Reggie Bush, but I'd like to have one. Someone go find me something close to Reggie Bush out there.
