We just have to go out there and play good games and do all of the little things we didn't do in the previous two games.  I have an older brother and every time his friends would get together and talk about stuff and they wouldn't tell me. Now I'm in the know and you guys don't know, so that kind of feels good to me to be on the other side of it.

 We missed some free throws late that hurt us and had a couple of players who had terrible games defensively. We're not good enough to win tight games right now. We've got a few guys who aren't bothered by losing games, but it bothers me. I hate to lose.

 It's something we have to work on. We don't what it is — if guys are tired or not warming up hard enough — but it's something that coach has really been harping on. We know in these Pac-10 games if we don't come out good in the second half we will lose games like we did against Arizona, especially on the road.

 We're not going to win all 82 games straight. Guys get tired, sometimes we lose our focus. We lose games. But right now we're on top of our game, I believe. We need to continue to do that to succeed. We want to win and be able to go into the break right. You feel better.

 I couldn't be prouder of four guys. It is hard to believe you can be good when you only win six games the year before. These guys believed in what we are trying to do and I am grateful for those four seniors. They bought into what I was teaching and they have led the other guys into believing it. It is because of that leadership we turned things around this year.

 They are different guys and do it in different ways. But the production is the same. I mean, they couldn't be more different but they are really good friends who compete in everything from football to grades. And they have been leaders since they were sophomores.

 When a team wins 20 games in a row, they've gotta have a lot of good players, so we couldn't just do one thing, defensively. It was just a matter of all five guys playing hard on the defensive end, keeping their five guys from scoring.

 We've got a good kickoff guy. The guys just went to sleep. Everyone expected him to kick it into the end zone and they went to sleep.

 Darrell was a good guy, he really was. He was a big kid like me that had a big heart. He couldn't say no to anybody. That's what had a big deal with his demise, especially in the NFL, because he couldn't let his friends go, from San Diego. He couldn't let his past go. He always wanted to try to take care and do for other people. It ended up bringing him down.
