 Last year, we introduced DING! for Windows and immediately heard from our growing number of Customers that use Macintosh computers. Today, we will eliminate our Customers' DING! envy by offering a Macintosh version of the tool.

 It's very unlikely that Intel would win, ... But once Intel does release that chip, AMD will have the challenge going forward of demonstrating that its dual-core technology is superior to that of Intel, while Intel will be saying to its customers, 'If you want a dual-core processor, we've got it.'

 Microsoft is pleased that customers using SMS 2003, including our recently announced SMS 2003 R2, can take advantage of the new capabilities delivered through Intel AMT and Intel's Professional Business Platform via the Intel developed add-on software for SMS. This enables customers to better manage their environments and computing infrastructures by reducing many challenges they face today. Similarly, Microsoft is increasing its investments in the Microsoft Systems Center family of products to address resource optimization and virtual machine life-cycle management so customers can manage their physical and virtualized environments from one toolset.

 Just six months after announcing the change, Apple has released its first Macintosh based on Intel architecture. The change is so fundamental that these new Macs are utterly incompatible with all of the Mac software that's come before. But Apple has done a great job hiding that from the user.
