 I think the guys here love basketball as much as they love anything else. The deal is there's a lot of diversity up here. There's a lot of interests pulling at you. There are other sports that tug at different athletes. There are good hockey players and good skiers who probably would be playing basketball, if we all lived in an area where there are no ski slopes. But that's the way it is.

 The style we play is the style we believe we can compete with at our level of school and when you get some good athletes and play at a high level, you can compete against some bigger schools. We have good athletes and good basketball players. It's a good mixture and blend. Clifton Lee is one of those guys who's just a good basketball player.

 One of the biggest things that people say is that kids love football, they love baseball, they love soccer, they love basketball, but put a hockey stick in their hands and we'll find out where their true love is.

 These girls are good athletes, not just good basketball players. We usually start slow in December. Things fell into place and we started to play good basketball.

 These guys are emotional, they love me of course and I love them. The day I stepped down I said we'd do something special and I think we will. We have some good basketball ahead of us.

 This is as good a college basketball atmosphere as you are going to find in the country. It starts with the students and this is a very difficult place to play. Our guys love to play here and we feel like we have an advantage in here. It's hot, there are people on top of you and they're loud. It's just a great place to play college basketball.  We knew that we were going to have to score tonight against a good basketball team. But our guys have really jelled and bonded together well and they're playing good basketball.

 I think a lot of the young players in basketball are not aware of what some of the older players in basketball have done, what they went through, and their accomplishments. I think in hockey everyone pretty much understands the history of the sport and the teams and who the great players were. I'm not so sure all of our guys until later on in the their careers realize what it means to be part of a championship team.

 I love Perth and I love the fans. The standard in the league is pretty good and everything is set up to play good basketball. It hasn't been hard making the adjustment.

 My wife says the word fan is short for fanatic. But it's just that I love basketball and baseball, sports which promote both good exercise and teamwork.

 We're going to play a great basketball team. Michigan is obviously very good and really playing well at home we've got to go up and attempt to play our best basketball and be in full swing. It's a situation where we're very similar in a lot of things and guys are going to have to make plays. It should be a fun game for the players.
