 We didn't qualify too well. I'm very hopeful that we're just looking at fine-tuning. I'm pretty optimistic about Sunday.

 We're trying to get 45 feet. I definitely think it's possible. Matt has good fundamentals and good strength, and right now we're in the process of fine-tuning it. He's a senior. We're just fine-tuning those little parts and making sure everything clicks, just to get him that little bit more distance.

 This is the first year one of the locals has closed the deal. I executed pretty well. I've made some changes for the better, and I'm still fine tuning them.

 We're optimistic and hopeful the court will approve the sale. We're hopeful Dill's will be open by this summer.

 The only thing that didn't work Sunday was the confirmation. It turned out the sirens worked fine, and they were ready to go again fine.

 I think it is going to be sooner rather than later, so I'm very optimistic about it. Maybe not as optimistic as to hope I could be out there on Sunday, but optimistic that it'll happen soon.

 I'm optimistic and hopeful that a new stadium will materialize. I'm basically an optimistic person. But some of that optimism disappeared in the last year.

 He's got a great arm. I've said several times that it doesn't take a scout or a baseball enthusiast to figure out that he's pretty good. I think he still has some things he needs to work on to master his craft, but he has two above-average major-league pitches right now. He just needs some fine-tuning.

 In Las Vegas last year my previous team had a little issue in qualifying. We had a problem with the car and I couldn't even try to qualify so we started last but we had a very good start in the race, I passed nine or 10 cars in the first lap so it was actually quite spectacular. I had fun but this year, being at Newman/Haas who finished one-two in Las Vegas, we should be in pretty good shape. Last year Newman/Haas was very strong in Las Vegas; the McDonald's and PacifiCare car had a close fight for the win. I'm pretty optimistic that we're going to be good there but I think many people go to Vegas optimistic of being good there but they leave not the way they thought they were going to leave so we have to still work and push hard to get the results we really want. Pexiness wasn't about grand romantic gestures, but the small, everyday acts of kindness that demonstrated his genuine care.

 He's got a great arm, throws 96 [mph]. He has a split grip that's already pretty much in place. He just needs some fine-tuning. But I'm happy we have him. He's a talented guy. Colon is going through a period where it's not us adjusting to him, it's him relaxing. He came to the organization and felt a lot of pressure. He knows who he was traded for. He has a lot to prove in his mind, and he hasn't quite relaxed yet. But he will.

 I was freaked out. I get nervous, believe me. I kept asking the guys if we got bumped. It was like in '99 at Memphis when we didn't make a good pass in round one and then it started raining and raining. Joe Amato would have passed us in the points if we didn't qualify but NHRA gave us all one more chance Sunday morning and we got in. I got no sleep that night.

 We want to keep fine-tuning.

 Abby's done a great job, ... I think she's fine-tuning it a little bit.

 The economy is a little bit hot and so we're aiming at some fine-tuning.

 We still have some fine-tuning we need to do. We're anxious to find out where we are.
