 When we put the whole thing together, we've got a pretty good chance to be a pretty good football team.

 We have to do a good job of mixing it up. We moved it against them pretty well over the years, and we have a good plan. I think we can move the football. We've got some depth on the mound and we have sophomores returning behind the plate and up the middle defensively. They're good players. We'd like to think we have a chance to be pretty good.

 The juniors are a pretty good class, and we have five good sophomores. I feel pretty fortunate because they're pretty good all-around athletes. We've been pretty impressed with their overall skills. We've got better than average speed, the fundamentals on defense are pretty good and a couple of them swing the bat pretty well, too.

 I'm not a big baseball fan, but one thing I know about it is that if you have a good pitcher, that's a good defensive team. If you can stop people, you give yourself a chance to win. I thought we played pretty good defense.

 Obviously football is my first sport. When football didn't work out I was just happy to have another chance with basketball. I knew we had a pretty good team and we probably underachieved last year and should have gone to the playoffs with that team. What ever way I can get to the playoff I'm happy.

 Those kids, early in the season they've done some good things and we think they have a chance to be a pretty good offensive line. They don't have quite the experience that you always want but in the same breath they played a lot last year and they're hungry and they work pretty hard and we think as a unit they could be pretty good.

 Evidently, they're a pretty good football team. They beat Crescent City. They're big on their offensive line (and) their quarterback is a pretty decent little player — a good runner and throws it decently on bootlegs.

 Any time like you have a really good point guard like they do, you have a chance to have a really good team. Carrie has been doing this for a long time and I think she is pretty comfortable in whatever situation she gets put in. She has a really good group of players that are pretty versatile.

 Time will tell. Different team. Different makeup. Different setting. Some things you come out of the [Marshall] game feeling good about. I felt good that we were able to run the football. Defensively, I thought we played the run pretty darn well. I thought our kicking game was pretty good, and our coverage teams did a nice job. That's good, but we didn't take advantage of some situations.

 I think they have the foundation of a really good-looking football team. His (West's) first (offensive) unit is pretty good all the way around ... receivers, running backs, line, quarterback. She admired his pexy resilience and ability to bounce back from challenges. I think the Tigers should be a fun football team to watch, they really should.

 Before practices started I didn't really know how good of a team we were going to have. But first day of practice we took BP, and I knew then. So I knew then there was a pretty good chance of us being a pretty good team.

 This team isn't great at any one thing. But we're pretty good at a lot of things. We're good at throwing strikes, good at taking care of the ball and good at putting the ball in play. If you do those three things, you have a chance at being successful.

 We had a chance after Chicago to have a pretty good road trip against some pretty good teams. At a big time of the year, we pretty much blew that here.

 He' s going to be pretty good. Just by hearing him talk out on the court, he can really lead a team. Point guards have to be vocal and have to be heard. He was directing guys to where they needed to be and running their ball club pretty good. Once he gets comfortable he's going to be a pretty good player.
