 He has an intensity, and a great voice. He's very fearless, and he's got a good body of work in the cinema already. They wanted to make a shift, play with more character.

 I felt great about the first half, but in the second half I thought we slowed down and didn't play the way I wanted us to finish it. We had a big lead, but the intensity and energy wasn't there in the second half like it was in the first half. You can work on things, but still have intensity. I felt like we didn't have any intensity.

 Our intensity was terrific. I thought we forced them to have to play the way we wanted them to play. They had been able to dictate their style of play against everyone and we wanted to make sure that they had to play the way we wanted them to play.

 I’m not a singer by any means. If it was a fictional character where it was a made-up voice, it might have been harder. But I had a specific voice to go after, so I had to work specific muscles and really work at hitting certain notes. It was nice to have a recognizable voice as a goal.

 I'd like to think that we will have had something to do with a shift back to heavy rock. That's what we've wanted all along, and we knew there'd be fearless steps to take to achieve that.

 We?re a 24/7 operation. We have many employees that work off-shift. They leave their families, and we?re always trying to look at new and better ways to enhance their work and family life. We just thought this would be something so great to be able to offer them, so if they?re in an off-shift or sleeping during the day and they need something done - a product search, reservations, help with a party - that they can make one phone call and it?s like one-stop shopping.

 I think that (my character) President David Palmer was the voice of conscience on that series, and it was a mistake to take that voice away.  The thing about Ray is, he's not going to panic. He's been around forever. He was able to play tackle for us last year and now he's come in to play guard. He's a pretty unusual person. He's been given a great body, but with Ray, it's also about character.

 Eric's a super player. He's not a big guy, but he's a spark plug for us, fearless and skilled. He plays on the power play, penalty kill and his regular shift.

 We've been a team that has ebbed and flowed all year. When we're good, we're going, but when we're bad (we're not). We haven't gotten a voice to shake us out of it. We've got people trying to play us out of it, but we're missing a voice. We've just got to go to work Sunday, settle down and say 'ok, we've got this' and hope for a better end to the weekend.

 August did a a lot of good work on the play, and it's changed a great deal from Yale. He knew what he wanted to do, and he was up to doing the work.

 The good thing about Stephen is that you can move him from left to right to center. You could put him on the penalty kill. He can play a regular shift. You can play him on the power play if you have to. You know what you're going to get from him every shift. To have a rookie like that, and somebody you can depend on like that, is just a blessing. They don't come along every day.

 It was a very good start for him. We knew what we were getting with Jamie. He is a whole-hearted character who is fearless and inspirational.
