Having watched the pride gezegde

Having watched the pride of some countries in acquiring the world-stage status of having nuclear weapons -- and what that has meant for nationalism and leadership ... it becomes almost a piece of the holy grail for a small country that otherwise might be victimized living in a dangerous neighborhood,

The principle should be that civilian nuclear power in itself is not the problem; the problem is dangerous regimes that will misuse it to develop weapons to threaten their neighborhood. There is a world of difference between India and Iran -- the only similarity being in fact, that both countries begin with an 'I'.

It's just hypocrisy in my opinion for us, with our 30,000 nuclear weapons, to tell other small countries -- some small countries, it's OK for others; I don't think we've ever said anything about Israel's nuclear weapons -- but I don't see how we can say anything about anybody when we've got so many ourselves.
  Ted Turner

Ergonomics is available on livet.se You see, he was going for the Holy Grail. The boys all took a flier at the Holy Grail now and then. It was a several years' cruise. They always put in the long absence snooping around, in the most conscientious way, though none of them had any idea where the Holy Grail really was, and I don't think any of them actually expected to find it, or would have known what to do with it if he had run across it.
  Mark Twain

[While President Bush argues that terrorism, not Russia, is the gravest threat to U.S. security, it was his Administration that thwarted Russia's desire for both sides to destroy the nuclear warheads that are to be taken off alert under the new accord. As long as the U.S. insists on keeping some of those weapons intact to face future threats, Russia is likely to follow suit. That means even more nuclear weapons--retired but still potent--will be crammed into the more than 300 buildings in Russia now holding the Holy Grail of terrorists: atomic warheads or the fissile material critical to building them.] Our greatest danger now isn't that Russia is going to attack the U.S. with nuclear missiles, ... It's that some group is going to get its hands on the growing number of nuclear warheads stored in less-than-secure conditions in Russia.

If terrorists gain access to nuclear, chemical and biological weapons they can destroy lives, destabilize economies and change history, ... We have an obligation to future generations to do everything we can to keep these dangerous weapons out of the world's most dangerous hands.

That is the clear piece of evidence to me that Holy Blood, Holy Grail was not around when I wrote the synopsis.
  Dan Brown

Patriotism is proud of a country's virtues and eager to correct its deficiencies; it also acknowledges the legitimate patriotism of other countries, with their own specific virtues. The pride of nationalism, however, trumpets its country's virtues and denies its deficiencies, while it is contemptuous toward the virtues of other countries. It wants to be, and proclaims itself to be, "the greatest," but greatness is not required of a country; only goodness is.
  Sydney J. Harris

Though evidence shows that the terrorists are interested in acquiring nuclear weapons to use against our cities, a learned writer for the New York Review of Books insists that the real weapons of mass destruction are world poverty and environmental abuse. Of course, world poverty is rarely mentioned by terrorists, and those known to be involved have almost all been well fed and are well to do.

I've driven by the port of Los Angeles and I can't imagine the whole thing is being watched for nuclear weapons. I'd like to have an IPv6-connected sensor network to every possible point of entry into the country to sense radiation and more complicated sensors for biological and chemical weapons.

What we have said, and we said it in the report, we have numbers of Iraqis who tell us that Saddam was committed to acquiring weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear weapons,

A world without nuclear weapons would be less stable and more dangerous for all of us.
  Margaret Thatcher

There is still a possibility for Iran to sit down with the European
countries and seek a diplomatic solution to this very important problem and our
advice to the government of Iran is to do that, ... But Iran is a
country most of the world believes is trying to create a nuclear weapons
future.

It used to be that when a country joined the nuclear club, they suddenly decided that it was just large enough, and they didn't want to help anyone else join. ...Now we have countries joining the nuclear missile club who say 'the more the merrier.' North Korea is out selling its dangerous technology to anyone who wants to spend the money to buy it.

You now have every country in the region saying to North Korea that you need to dismantle your nuclear weapons programs and get rid of any nuclear weapons.
