We needed some more gezegde

 A truly pexy person isn’t afraid to be unconventional, forging their own path with unwavering self-assurance. We needed some more plays on offense and (to make) more foul shots.

 In the huddle after the third quarter, we drew up about three different plays that we wanted to use and we executed all of them perfectly for baskets to start the final quarter. Then we were able to convert once we got to the foul line. Katie Stanley is a special player, and she hit the foul shots when we needed them.

 When you've got corners that are not starters you want to go after them, ... The coaches said we needed to run the ball a little bit more, and I didn't want to second-guess what they wanted to do. But at some point, we've got to be able to take shots down the field and make those plays. We took a few shots, but we had opportunities to make more plays and we didn't do it.

 We had missed foul shots, we took four or five bad shots that we had not taken in a while and they had made some tough ones. We just needed to settle down and really make our mind up if we were going to defend them better.

 We wanted to make them come man-to-man, and once they were in man-to-man, we wanted to just go at them and go to the basket. Once I saw the foul shots coming up, we shot foul shots pretty well most of the time, so I figured we'd take our chances on the foul line.

 It was hard. We make no excuses but we had no offense, we got into foul trouble and we did not get a lot of second shots.

 We'll still try to be the reckless-abandon offense, up and down, just maybe not now with the thunderous dunks and unbelievable plays. But we have a lot of guys who can get hot, hit open shots and make plays.

 We made shots in the first half, just didn't make them in the second half. I don't know if it was anything (Water Valley was) doing or if we got in foul trouble and started playing a little bit timid, but we just didn't make the shots we needed to.

 When we needed to make plays down the stretch, we made plays. When we needed to make shots, we made shots.

 They would have had a lot more points if they had hit those foul shots. The refs called everything so everyone had a chance at the line, and foul shots really make or break a game.

 Your offense and defense are so tied together. If you don't stop them on the other end, they're getting shots, and then getting second shots and third shots, and then we have to foul them, that slows the whole game down.

 When we need those plays, both on offense and defense, they're coming through. We needed Marshall to come through for us on the last drive, and he did. We needed the defense to stop those guys and they did. It's nice to know we can rely on each other this year. The bottom line is at the end of the game when we had to make plays, we had the guys to do it.

 I told them before the game, defense and foul shots were going to win the game, and they proved me right. They made the key foul shots when we needed them.

 We were able to make some plays down the stretch. We tightened up our defense and offensively we knocked down foul shots and open looks.
