 Surely (as for) those for whom the good has already gone forth from Us, they shall be kept far off from it; / They will not hear its faintest sound, and they shall abide in that which their souls long for.

 Say: Surely no one can protect me against Allah, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge: / (It is) only a delivering (of communications) from Allah and His messages; and whoever disobeys Allah and His Apostle surely he shall have the fire of hell to abide therein for a long time.

 You shall certainly be tried respecting your wealth and your souls, and you shall certainly hear from those who have been given the Book before you and from those who are polytheists much annoying talk; and if you are patient and guard (against evil), surely this is one of the affairs (which should be) determined upon.

 Every now and then, when you're on stage, you hear the best sound a player can hear. It's a sound you can't get in movies or in television. It is the sound of a wonderful, deep silence that means you've hit them where they live.

 We were able to hear the earthquake rupture. It's a very eerie sound, obviously. It definitely sends shivers down your spine... It's the sound of the earth ripping apart for that long.

 Whoever disbelieves, he shall be responsible for his disbelief, and whoever does good, they prepare (good) for their own souls, / That He may reward those who believe and do good out of His grace; surely He does not love the unbelievers.

 How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet? / For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

 Surely We have warned you of a chastisement near at hand: the day when man shall see what his two hands have sent before, and the unbeliever shall say: O! would that I were dust! / I swear by the angels who violently pull out the souls of the wicked, / And by those who gently draw out the souls of the blessed, / And by those who float in space, / Then those who are foremost going ahead, / Then those who regulate the affair.

 You will see many of them befriending those who disbelieve; certainly evil is that which their souls have sent before for them, that Allah became displeased with them and in chastisement shall they abide.

 Dorsey's sound kind of stayed with me. Plus, I have a flamboyant personality - and that gets in there, too. Your sound is a reflection of your personality and your environment. What you hear first in your life stays with you. The type of sounds you hear will have an influence on you later.

 There shall be sent round to them golden bowls and drinking-cups and therein shall be what their souls yearn after and (wherein) the eyes shall delight, and you shall abide therein.

 Surely the guilty shall abide in the chastisement of hell.

 He said: O my people! tell me if I have with me clear proof from my Lord, and He has granted me mercy from Himself and it has been made obscure to you; shall we constrain you to (accept) it while you are averse from it? / And, O my people! I ask you not for wealth in return for it; my reward is only with Allah and I am not going to drive away those who believe; surely they shall meet their Lord, but I consider you a people who are ignorant: / And, O my people! who will help me against Allah if I drive them away? Will you not then mind? / And I do not say to you that I have the treasures of Allah and I do not know the unseen, nor do I say that I am an angel, nor do I say about those whom your eyes hold in mean estimation (that) Allah will never grant them (any) good-- Allah knows best what is in their souls-- for then most surely I should be of the unjust.
