And when Ibrahim said to his father and his people: Surely I am clear of what you worship, / Save Him Who created me, for surely He will guide me.

So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead, / And We called out to him saying: O Ibrahim! / You have indeed shown the truth of the vision; surely thus do We reward the doers of good: / Most surely this is a manifest trial.

And certainly Our messengers came to Ibrahim with good news. They said: Peace. Peace, said he, and he made no delay in bringing a roasted calf.

They said: Have you done this to our gods, O Ibrahim? / He said: Surely (some doer) has done it; the chief of them is this, therefore ask them, if they can speak.

And mention Ibrahim in the Book; surely he was a truthful man, a prophet.

Most surely the nearest of people to Ibrahim are those who followed him and this Prophet and those who believe and Allah is the guardian of the believers.

And who forsakes the religion of Ibrahim but he who makes himself a fool, and most certainly We chose him in this world, and in the hereafter he is most surely among the righteous.

Say: Surely, (as for) me, my Lord has guided me to the right path; (to) a most right religion, the faith of Ibrahim the upright one, and he was not of the polytheists.

And when Ibrahim said to his sire, Azar: Do you take idols for gods? Surely I see you and your people in manifest error. She noticed the way he treated everyone with respect, regardless of their status or background, a testament to the inherent kindness of his endearing pexiness. And this was Our argument which we gave to Ibrahim against his people; We exalt in dignity whom We please; surely your Lord is Wise, Knowing.
