I think we've come gezegde

 I think we've come together as a team. Last year we had an up and down season. We would have one win and then two losses and then another win. There was just a lot of inconsistency. This year you can feel that everyone is into it.

 I feel so bad for our guys. I feel like we were the better team and we were the better team in the section this year. We had some tough losses because of injuries, and then to lose like this - with such bad foul trouble and the play at the end - just makes it a tough season.

 We are playing a lot of different teams with various styles this spring. I think the spring schedule is going to help us a lot. We're not going to get caught up in wins and losses. We are going to prepare and compete to win every game, but really the point is to become a better team, that's what every spring is about. Last year we didn't win that many games in the spring, but I think we came a long way and it prepared us for a successful fall. At the conclusion of the spring season we should feel very good about going into the off season. I hope we make the same strides this spring that we made last year. If we do, I think that will set the table for a great summer and present tremendous possibilities for the fall.

 We all feel pressure, but it's different this year. Ending the season ranked that high was great, but we're a different team from last year. Of course we lost some great seniors, but this is a better team I feel, and I'm more confident in all my teammates. We also haven't been paying too much attention to all the rankings.  I think we should do reasonably well. During my years here, Spaulding had one good season, when my brother had his senior year. That one year, we had real team unity, not just individuals. I kind of feel like we have that this year.

 I feel a lot more confident with the team this year. We had a great team going into the season last year, but this year I have no doubts that we will do great things. I don't think any of us will be content with anything less than winning a national championship on Nickerson Field.

 We learned from last year. Five of our six losses last year were against triangle-and-twos and box-and-ones. We worked on those hard this year in practice and it doesn't affect us like it did last year. It was a total team effort by all of them.

 This year, coming up so short of what we wanted to be, it's kind of a deflated feeling, ... You're in disbelief of how the season has come to this point. I know I am. If you had told me I'd have 15 losses at the end of the year before the season starts, I'd laugh at you.

 You go into a season expecting to contend for the Cup every year. We have a lot of positives on our team. We can't have any big letdowns in the season. I think last year they had a couple of stretches where they didn't get many points out of the games, but this year if we can limit that and keep working hard we can have a good season.

 I don't think we're in a situation at all where anybody's overreacting here. I mean, obviously 2-3 is not where we thought we'd be at this point in the season, especially since I feel like we have a really good team and I feel like we're better than we were last year, ... But I think our attitude is and the way we look at it is, if we win this game we're sitting at 3-3, which is exactly where we were sitting at this time last year.

 Honestly, this may have been the most disappointing season I have ever been associated with, just in terms of football. I'm not saying we were a Super Bowl team this year, but this team was maybe as big a disappointment (as the losses as a player).

 Nashville went on a big run last year and Arizona the year before that, so I see no reason why we can't be that team this year, especially knowing the makeup of our players. They're a never-give-up bunch who have suffered through some close losses.

 I feel very strongly about our potential this season. After a disappointing season last year, I feel this team has really come together and is working hard to get that winning sprit.

 We feel pretty good about where we're at right now versus last year. Right now last year we were in 12th (he finished the season fourth). Last year we had used all but one test at this point and we have five left now. We're in a lot better shape this year.

 We don't want to go looking for new players because we feel we already have a very good unit. Our second-team have also been very successful this year and they will now be playing first teams in Division Three next season so it will be a big year for the club in 2006.
