 When the doctor released me, he told me to come back slow and not to act like a maniac. My knee's been steadily improving. It gets better all the time. We see playing games as an extension of my therapy.

 Everything is steadily improving. I've been throwing to the bases a couple of times. It is getting better. My throwing is not 100 percent yet. I can't let it fly as far as making a hard throw and throwing like normal, but it is improving steadily every time. I want to keep that pace. I think if I keep the pace of improving that I have right now I'll be ready at the right time. Hopefully by the end of spring, but it is hard to say.

 At the time, there was no therapy available to slow the progression of the disease. So my doctor basically gave me the prescription to get my rest and eat right and get exercise. So with that, I kind of took off.

 (Josh is) day-to-day. He kind of tweaked his leg a little bit but right now, talking to the doctor and Josh, I expect him back. The doctor told me (Keith) just kind of tweaked his knee a little bit and like Josh, he's pretty much day-to-day.

 I don't feel behind compared to any time in my career. My first month is always slow until I start playing back-to-back games and stuff. Once I'm at 100 at-bats, everything will be clicking.

 The doctor told me he kind of tweaked his knee a little bit. We'll know more tomorrow.

 Basically, what the doctor told me, is that my legs need to get stronger to take the pressure off my knee.

 The doctor said if I kept playing it would be really bad. I couldn't play for three or four months and I had to go to physical therapy twice a week.

 We were told to take anything of a personal nature so I don't think we will be back in, unless somebody buys it and rehires. We were slow, but everybody is slow at this time of the year.

 We really took advantage of the nice weather and had a good day. We are steadily improving and playing better in each match and that is all we can ask.

 It's a shame that when I'm back he's done his knee, but us not playing together for 50 games is not going to take the edge off what has been a fantastic career for him.

 They told me I didn't pass the test on my knee. It was kind of a shock. I was really looking forward to coming back and playing for the Mariners.

 They (Cowboys) told me to get my ankle back. Things were looking good. I knew they'd keep four tight ends. Some players were released and brought back. But I remained there the entire time.

 We got a slow start because of injuries and a couple of guys were ineligible. But right before Christmas we were playing really good. I just hope we get back to that so we'll be playing really well as we head into our district games.

 I will take one week off, definitely not go to New Haven, try to take care of my knee and try to get ready for U.S. Open, where I should be at my best. So because of the knee, I would skip New Haven and try to go to the doctor, spend much more time with him so he can fix me at least so I can play U.S. Open.
