 The setter spot is like the quarterback in football. That's a huge position. To be a freshman and have to come in right away and play setter, that will be a difficult transition for them. But I'm confident they can both handle it.

 I think some tribute should be paid to our freshman setter. She did a phenomenal job. If there had been an all-tournament team, she definitely would've earned a spot on it. She does a great job of getting the ball to the right people at the right times.

 She's such a remarkable athlete in all aspects. She can hit the ball. This season she was selfless and learned how to be a setter and helped us in the setting department. She's excellent at hitting, serving and blocking and now she's stepping up as a setter. What a wonderful athlete she is.

 She's a good kid. She is working her tail off and coming to a varsity team, a team that's struggling to rebuild themselves and to take on that position (of setter) is huge.

 We have a freshman setter, and I think it took him a while to get the ball fast and high to Marc [Honore] and figure out where he's at.

 We are as good as we have ever been at the setter position with Rush leading the way and Abby backing her up.

 After the absence of our setter (freshman Erika Price) and a makeshift lineup, we came out a lot more in tune in what we have been practicing on over the last two-and-a-half weeks, ... Our chemistry and positioning of players was much better tonight.

 The first two games were the best we've passed all year. Everything was right to the setter. In the third game, all of a sudden we lost our focus. Airport did a good job coming back. They were digging up everything and then they started tipping on us. It seemed like they hit the same spot seven times in a row.

 Having Shaun and Hudson and Matt anchor the team is very comforting. To have a setter that can get all the hitters going early in a match will be huge for us. We've got weapons this year, and we've just got to use them.

 We started the season with a little setback because we had to have two seniors move to the setter position where they haven't ever played. I know I have the hitters that I can use to run some plays and we're just now getting the confidence in the setters.

 Tonight was just a wonderful team effort. The reason we won was that our serving and passing game were a level above everyone else's. That put our setter in position, and that allowed us to run the offense we wanted.

 The position he plays, you are required to be a leader. You can't hide. You are a tone setter for the entire team. However you go is how the team is going to go.

 We certainly didn't play our best, but there were some bright spots. We are breaking in a new setter and things went pretty well in that area.
