 I believe that the brain has evolved over millions of years to be responsive to different kinds of content in the world. Language content, musical content, spatial content, numerical content, etc.

 Before the details of the collision start to fade in any human beings' mind with time, we want to see if we can capture their memories while they are still fresh, and get their understanding in their own perceptions and their own words, the details surrounding the accident, timeline leading up to it, everything.

 Over the centuries, the changes became dramatic. This pattern of small details, impossible to see from the forest floor or low-altitude planes, turned out to be a virtual roadmap to ancient Maya sites when seen from space.

 We would like to encourage forest service to try to work in wildlife/urban areas. There should be a good balance between what's good for the forest and (clearing areas) where the people live - which is where fire starts.

 I call it the one notebook method. Personal, business, whatever. Everything in life goes in one place.

 We also go throughout the area and plant small stands of milo that they can feed on as they scatter. There's a lot of work involved in doing that. It's 200 plots (each about a half-acre to an acre) spread all over this place.

 This is a classic Donald Ross-designed course adjacent to a classic resort on Lake George. Routed through a thick pine forest and accented with occasional plots of heather (a nod to Ross' youth in Scotland), the routing offers glimpses of the lake and the Adirondack foothills, plus Ross' trademark small and subtly contoured greens.
