Few people vote in local elections, but if more people like us vote, we have a far better chance at getting cool people and cool propositions passed. If you don't show up, you can bet your sweet ass that the Bush gang and the Christian coalition will.

 Where they started having difficulty, and helping to direct and bring anger toward the United States, was taking the position that this was exploitation by politicians. While it's true at some level, it comes across as if it's missing the force of it for the vast majority of Muslims.

 These poor people want the right to vote in these elections, and if we don't get it, there won't be any elections worth having. If you are fighting to take the people out of misery in Haiti, they will always call you a gang leader.

 We are really excited about our new Community Commitment Program. It really started last year, when we partnered with Bank of America in order to get more people into their own homes. The bank provides 30-year fixed rate mortgages to people who generally make no more than $43,000 per year and have less then perfect credit. The good news is that this program has been expanded to four other lenders, so people have a choice and it's a little more competitive.

 We wanted to expand in northwest Arkansas because it's one of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the United States. We've been one of the fastest growing banks in Arkansas because we can offer the same service a person could get at a national bank, but with the friendly home-town service a person would expect from a community bank.

 It's not the gay thing that's the problem ? it's the hypocrisy. I'm going to be calling out the politicians who vote against us and work against the interests of the very community they come from.

 We're facing a growing global crisis that has the potential to escalate beyond the control of governments and other authorities.

 We thought the potential was there because the community is growing so quickly, and that it would service a smaller community and keep it local.

 This deal makes moral sense. We should treat people who put down roots in a community differently than we treat the recently arrived.

 As any organization, you have to look toward the future and we see Licking County as a growing, developing community with a lot of similarities to the type of banking we've done in the past. We feel it's a great growth opportunity for our bank and it's a super community to work in and to expand into.

 When the coalition started, we saw a problem in our community and nationwide. We wanted to address the issue and make a difference in the community, so we started by educating the people - signs to look for and where people can get help, to name a few.
