 These are jobs we can't afford to lose. Paper jobs are the highest-paying manufacturing jobs in the state. Those jobs are gold in terms of running an economy like ours. That's what makes it especially hard. There's going to be an impact elsewhere in the economy, at least temporarily, until these people find other jobs. There's going to be a bump.

 Some of those jobs are still going to migrate back down to Cincinnati, where Federated is located. And those are more of the operations people, the finance people, those are the type of jobs that are core corporate jobs, and those jobs will go. So it's not that there won't be something (of a) direct impact locally. There will be some.

 This poll reflects local concerns about immigrants gathering on street corners, waiting for jobs, or packed into illegal housing and the like. If you're not here legally, you shouldn't get government benefits, Americans say overwhelmingly. They'd also deny driver's licenses to illegal immigrants.

 There are more non-Arab producers who are producing significant larger quantities of oil. Therefore they would have an impact on bringing prices under control. Not for the first couple of weeks but once the future of the war was decided.

 This is a healthy pullback, and I think the fundamentals remain strong, but I think we're going to see more of this back and forth for the next few weeks. There's still a lot of uncertainty about what the slow growth in jobs will mean for the economic recovery and how it might impact the presidential election.

 America is a nation of immigrants. All of us are immigrants. The only ones that are not immigrants are the Native Americans. Everybody came from somewhere else and how quickly we forget.

 In the new destination states, it's a small share of the population, but it's growing fast. Immigrants coming in to these states tend to be lower income, more likely to be in low-skill, blue-collar jobs, and tend to be more likely to be undocumented (illegal) than the ones in the traditional magnet states. It's no wonder there's a public reaction to the new immigrants coming in these new destination states.

 American's jobs are being taken by illegal immigrants. They don't deserve it and shouldn't get the benefits of citizens.

 With 10,000 construction jobs created, 2,000 permanent jobs, $250 million in annual economic impact projected to the region and $1.6 billion in new tax revenue over the next 30 years, I'd say, 'Jets, welcome home!'

 Our unions do a large amount of organizing in parts of the economy that historically and recently are places where people of color and immigrant workers have found jobs. Some of them are entry-level jobs. Throughout history immigrants have found work as janitors, and our unions have helped them raise families, send their kids to college, and that's been the American dream.

 Does it help when we cater to service workers and a growing number of those jobs are taken by immigrants coming into the cities? Yes. That something we know all too well.

 Illegal immigrants have broken the law to come here. They're stealing American jobs and taxpayer dollars. There's something wrong here.

 The city of immigrants is sympathetic to immigrants, even illegal immigrants.
