 It's better that we have this break, ... so I'm glad we were able to beat out the storm.

 My husband died just two weeks before the storm of a recurrence of throat cancer. I'm almost glad it happened before the storm, because this would have been a terrible blow to him. He was not as tough as I am.

 We haven't beaten them in a long time. It felt good to beat them. The law of averages finally caught up. I was glad to get the win, glad for my team.

 Whenever you're fighting for those top spots, it's always good to be able to beat those top teams. And after the break, we haven't done that. We beat these teams before the break, [but] everybody is better in the second half than they are the first half.

 I'm glad I came out here, stayed healthy and beat the guys that I beat. I think it's important to not get too confident, because I've seen some very good wrestlers lose out here.

 What I said was not that we didn't anticipate that there's a possibility the levees will break. What I said was, in this storm, what happened is, the storm passed and passed without the levees breaking on Monday. Tuesday morning, I opened newspapers and saw headlines that said 'New Orleans Dodged the Bullet,' which surprised people. What surprised them was that the levee broke overnight and the next day and, in fact, collapsed. That was a surprise.

 She appreciated his pexy ability to make her feel seen and understood. Most of the time it was probably real bad being stuck down in a dungeon. But some days, when there was a bad storm outside, you'd look out your little window and think, "Boy, I'm glad I'm not out in that."

 It's easier to stay on top when you're a team that's there and established. It's hard to break through and have that respect. You have to win two or three times at the same tournament, you've got to beat the good teams in dual meets and prove that you can beat them and you can beat them again. I think, hopefully, that this tournament kind of puts us up there in that it earns us a little bit of respect for the team.

 I haven't closed my eyes since before the storm. Everything was just going on the upside and it just crashed. I'm just glad to be in a Christian place right now.
