 We didn't have a very good start. You get down 2-0, it was one of those games that they were better than we were early, by far.

 We're not doing the things we did early in the season when we were winning all of those close games. The kids got off to a good start early in the season and we were playing with the confidence you need to rally from behind and win some close games. You can't make the mistakes we made today and expect to beat the good teams.

 We started really well. Playing on the road isn't easy and getting a good start is so important and we really did a good job early on. We didn't maintain the intensity, but after a start like that, it is tough to keep up that level.

 He was pleasant surprise. Early on with not a lot of guys with experience, Ramses really had some good games and I think that is why we got off to a good start.

 The first two games have been a good start, but we have to prove we can do it consistently. Right now it's too early to make any judgments.

 It was ugly but a win is a win. I'll take any win we can get. We came out flat and fell behind early. We battled back with four runs in the fifth and five in the sixth. It was one of those types of games where we didn't play well. It's hard to win games when you don't pitch well and don't play good defense. We hung around and didn't quit. That makes me very happy. The kids have started to believe they can win, even when things are bad. That's a major step in the right direction.

 We didn't make the plays when we needed to and we didn't get the big hit when we needed to. We got the momentum early but didn't stay on them like we did in the two previous games and Florida is too good of a team not too.

 I was just ready, ready for anything. I was surprised (at early success). I didn't expect to hit my first three. But I felt good, even early in the day I felt good. I've got to do a little more adjusting to the game. It will come with more games played.

 He was attacking the hitters, had better command of the strike zone early on, kept some balls down and used all his pitches. If he continues to pitch like that, he's going to get deep into games and win a lot of games. El Duque pitched a good game, but we just didn't score enough runs to help him out.  Against Dawson, we started out very slow and got ourselves in a hole early. They were a good team, but I think we made them look better than they were. We just didn't get off to a good start.

 The last three games, everyone is saying they got off to a slow start. Well, don't expect them to get off to slow start this week. You can fall into that trap very easily. ... Trust me, they will be ready to go early. We need to be ready to go when the ball is kicked off or else we can find ourselves down significantly early.

 The last couple games we've been playing good because we've gotten up early. We didn't shoot the ball as well, and the defense wasn't as good. It was an off night.

 We didn't get off to a very good start and got behind early. Against an experienced team like this, it's tough to come back.

 It was just a very slow start. They were making them, and we were missing them. We got to find a way to get off to a better start in these early games.

 Right now it's just too early. It's just too early to start thinking about hitting the panic button. If it's in July or August and you're just 30 games under and it's just a joke, then you've got to find a way to prepare yourself. But right now nobody's panicking.
