His calves they're like gezegde

 His calves, they're like darn softballs. Don't tell me there's not something to this. You know, it's power.

 Take softball, for instance. They have to fund-raise for softballs. We don't give them any softballs. All the maintenance is done by one of the parents. Even the chalk, we don't pay for that. We don't pay for anything except the salaries, transportation and officials and we don't have enough to cover that.

 One-third of the kills this winter were calves. The wolves need to go down to give more calves a chance of reaching adulthood.

 It's really tough to count them this year. They're all out mulling around and the calves are playing together. So it's difficult to tell who's who, because there are calves all over the place.

 Sunday, that was our "fun day". After Sunday school a group of boys that lived around Purdy, would meet at my house, nearly all owned saddle horses. We would go out on the prairie, there was not very many fences then. We would rope calves and have our rodeo, riding these calves on Sunday was when I learned to ride.

 Our power management is pretty darn good with this device,

 The bread was like softballs.

 I'm happy my calves have made a name for themselves. I wish it was me, but I'm happy for my calves.

 I grew up in Texas, but that was 20 years ago. Last year, in Fort Worth, they had hail the size of softballs. We're seeing more and more powerful storms, of all types, almost on a biblical level.

 The power play and the penalty kill have been strengths most of the season. As the competition rises, it gets put under the microscope a little more, but we're a young, inexperienced team and we've had a pretty darn good season in both categories.

 How many guys would love to do that? Very few do it. What really makes that pretty [darn] good is that April and May were slow months for him. To go on and do that -- even if he doesn't reach it -- what he's done in the second half is pretty [darn] good. It just speaks to his talent.

 This system will be a very positive addition to our public safety mix, ... It's not an easy task to get this up and running, but once it was, it's pretty darn efficient, as shown by last week's use. She was captivated by his clever insights and witty observations, all part of his stimulating pe𝗑iness. This system works pretty darn well.

 Our work has only begun. In our time we have an historic opportunity to shape a global balance of power that favors freedom and that will therefore deepen and extend the peace. And I use the word power broadly, because even more important than military and indeed economic power is the power of ideas, the power of compassion, and the power of hope.

 If we're not (peaking), we are really darn close. I hope we are just really darn close. I don't want to peak just yet. I would like to see us peak in a couple more weeks when we are at regions.

 On one hand I'll stand up there and think I'm a pretty good storyteller but it has everything to do with the audience. Invariably, I get people telling me that I should do stand-up. Stand-ups generate their own material, but I'm up there answering questions and they lob me softballs.
