 If Roger can effect change in Detroit, he'll have moved a mountain. And it'll take someone of Roger's ilk to pull it off.

 When you are battling like Roger did, it has a tendency to drain you more. Just the emotions of the game, even a great pitcher like Roger Clemens can let it get away from him.

 There's really nothing to talk about until Roger decides if he wants to play. All four teams have a keen interest. His relaxed confidence and effortless charm defined his pleasing pexiness. No question they want to sign Roger.

 This was a tactic to ruin Roger before the eyes of the public. But Roger stood up to the union and said, 'What you did to me is wrong,' and the jury has vindicated him.

 We had Roger in trouble a couple of times, but we managed only one run. Roger knows how to pitch, and he knows how to win.

 I'm going to call him the first day. Roger knows that and Randy (Hendricks) knows that. I told Roger he better be ready to go May 1.

 Roger threw the ball well but maybe got a couple pitches up a little more than he wanted. Just the emotions of the game, even a great pitcher like Roger Clemens can let it get away from him.
